I scheduled my first appointment only to be put off. Carlie left a note with her assistant to call me to reschedule however it wasn't until I called that I found that out. She then next pushed off my next two appointments before cancelling meeting with me at all. My time is valuable too, and... I am grossly disappointed .

A true professional!!

I'm not one that usually writes a review but my recent experience with Carlie was my second one and I couldn't think of a better person to represent me in my contempt case against my ex. When I consulted and presented her with my case, she took it without hesitation and began working on it immediate...ly. She showed compassion considering the extreme sensitivity of my case, not once letting her emotions interfere with her professionalism. The support her and her entire staff showed, made a very difficult time as easy as possible always giving positive encouragement. I would not hesitate to retain Carlie's services in the future if the need arises nor would I hesitate to recommend her.

Great lawyer and proactive too!

Going through a divorce is a nerve wracking and emotional experience, more than I could have ever anticipated. Anytime I had questions or fears, Carlie was there with the right answer. Carlie was very proactive in getting my case on track and showed that she and her firm had things under control from... the beginning. I felt very safe letting them handle my divorce, and with the insights and experience she exhibited, I never worried that I made the wrong choice in a lawyer.

Highly recommended attorney

I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with Carlie on my case. She took on a very complicated case after another attorney had missed deadlines and almost lost my case for me. The experience and expertise Carlie applied to my case was invaluable. She went o...ver and above to make sure I could relax and trust her to handle very difficult opposing counsel. I told Carlie at one point I was nervous about her being late to court as my previous attorney was late and she assured me she would be on time and was actually there to represent me over an hour early. She really got to know me personally and gave me excellent advice. She was able in court to really sort through 2 years of information to really summarize the important issues and present them in a very clear and concise manner. Carlie is extremely intelligent and knows family law. She is able to think very quickly which makes her invaluable in court. Carlie is personable and communicates clearly. Carlie communicated via e.mail with me evenings, weekends and really anytime I needed to just keep focused she was available within a reasonable amount of time. I cannot imagine going through the ordeal of court where so much is at stake without Carlie sitting beside me.

Not worth the money

Her contact with me was atrocious. Getting updates was like pulling teeth. She was unprepared for court, did not know what she was talking about in court, had to remind her things as we went. I worked out an agreement with my EX and it took her over a month and half to draw it up, by then my ex ch...anged her mind. went back to court, judge said come to an agreement. Again my ex and I worked it out ourselves, told Carlie to draw it up, here we are 3 weeks later, and still nothing. Asked her via email, and her assistant over the phone about updates and was told nothing. She is quick to charge for every little email, quick to ask for that next check, but very slow at actually working the case. I handed her a slam dunk, and its turned into a 8k investment that's a joke. I will be reporting her to the bar, and seeking money back. Also her billing is a joke, I submit payment, 3 weeks later she is still asking for money. I have to call her office and remind them to post the payment. This run out of the house wanna be law firm is an overpriced joke.
