also known as KJ Granville, Kari Jill Granville
"KJ" Granville has had a wide variety of living, travel, and employment experience.
Kari came to Arizona on an archery scholarship with Arizona State University. A two-time All-American, she left school to care for a family member, after which she traveled the world as a live stage production manager and lighting technician. She returned to finish her Bachelor of Science in Political Science at ASU in 2000. KJ received her juris doctorate from ASU in May of 2004 with the Dean's Award of Recognition, a Certificate in Law, Science, and Technology: Intellectual Property, and the Highest Pro Bono Distinction.
After graduation, KJ worked as a member of the ASU College of Law's administrative staff, building from her previous local knowledge and institutional memory to develop stronger relationships between the law students and the community and tackling the practical execution of coordinating two new LL.M. and one new M.L.S. degree programs.
Prior to the creation of Granville Law, PLLC, Kari learned the legal ropes from notable lawyers such as Joan Jakel (business formation and small business solutions) and Adrian Fontes (criminal defense and public advocacy). Both individuals helped to teach her the skills of drafting, negotiation, and litigation. KJ has an enviable trial success record and has served as a Pro Tempore Justice of the Peace.
Currently, in her spare time, KJ enjoys dog agility training and competition. In her younger years, Kari competed at the elite level in the sport of archery. She has been a member of the USA Archery Team and has represented the US at several World Championship events. Kari has been named twice as USA Archery's "Shenk Award" winner (highest combined score from US Indoor, Field, and Target Nationals). KJ also coached the ASU archery team, is a former Chair of the USA Archery Board of Justice, is a former Chair of the College Archery Program of USA Archery, and has been a member of the USA Archery - Arizona Board of Directors.

Diligent and Candid
Ms. Granville took on a small matter pro bono for one of my daughters. She was thorough, took the time to explain the matter and potential outcomes candidly and in a manner that my daughter could be part of the process.

Trustworthy and Caring Layers are hard to come by.
Ms. Granville went out of her way when she took on my sons case. I was out of town when my son was released from jail so Kari went and picked him up and took him home. She talked to him as a friend and relayed personal stories about herself to him. She got through to him and understood what he nee...

A great defence attorney and human being.
Kari Granville represented my son ( deceased ) in 2013. Kari was professional and compassionate. She recognized and got my son the services he needed. We would not have had our son with us at the end without her hard work.

"I endorse attorney Kari Granville. I have known her for several years and I see her in the courts routinely. She is an excellent criminal defense lawyer. She knows the law and she brings a positive attitude to this line of work, which is often very difficult to do. Her clients are truly in good hands and they are very fortunate to have her."
"Kari does a fabulous job in answering questions here on AVVO which to me is a great reflection of her abilities as an attorney. I enthusiastically endorse her."
"Kari is not only an excellent attorney - she truly is compassionate and cares about each and every one of her clients. I know when i refer a client to her they are in excellent hands."
"Kari and I were students together in law school, later co-workers, and now professional colleagues. I have seen her tackle business matters with a practical approach that carries years of experience outside the legal field. Her grasp of complex corporate matters, especially IP and strategy is quick and thorough. She especially impressed me with a "how-to" manual she co-wrote for entrepreneurs - simply the way she can explain complicated theories to laymen is remarkable. She handles more cases than business or corporate, but she brings the same skillset to all."
"Kari is a dedicated and knowledgeable attorney who will go the distance for her clients. Without hesitation, I endorse this lawyer."
"Kari is an exceptional attorney with fantastic technical legal skills and understanding for her clients. I would never hesitate to refer potential clients to Kari."
"Kari is an excellent lawyer who is exceptional in every way. She is devoted to her clients and her reputation precedes her in the legal community here in Phoenix."
