Family Law Trial Attorney

Brad Crider, is the best Family Law Attorney there is and here is why below and following. If any attorney you use doesn't know anything about the judge you’re going in front of (unless he/she is new), then run away because they are probably not a very experienced attorney. I was referred by a Father... who he represented who had everything against him not to get Joint Custody but Brad was able to convince the court in his Trial. Although, my case had holes in it, Brad, immediately took on my case, while another person turned it down. Kelly (paralegal) and Brad, are by far the best team you can have on your side. They will not tell you want you want to hear but tell you what you need to hear and are honest all the way. HOW BRAD HELPED ME IN MY CASE: I fired my attorney and hired Brad to take on my case December of 2017. Mother had won sole legal decision making and I acquired weekend time and that was all as a temporary order that lasted a long time. I got the short end of the stick. The mother made a lot of claims, filed an order of protections twice with my child on their, a false DCS case, I was not able to talk to the school, at one point not able to see or talk to my child. This was just 20 days before my trial date September of 2018. Brad, stepped in and he was able to convince the court for us to get a court appointed advisor and move our court date to a future date. I was at a lost at times because of lack of seeing my son and false allegations made against me. I thought I was going to lose all my right as a Father. It's very damaging to the entire family and almost damaged my career and life. Brad's team convinced me not to file additional court proceedings against the mother and to remain calm. He said the gloves come off at trial and not to worry, although I stilled worried. He definitely held to his word. I was awarded Sole Legal Decision Making and with Mother having Supervised Parenting Time as the best interest of our child. It was sad that the Mother could not agree to joint everything and instead she fought me for more. Brad was up against an attorney from Stewart Law Group. Communication: Schedule appointments with Brad and/or Kelly and have your questions written down prepared ahead of time or send them as an email all at once. Emailing them every hour is not the best use of your money or their time, trust me. Financial Costs: Brad, is very reasonable compared to others and is definitely better than them. He is not out to nickel and dime you but to get results. Your money will be best spent here, don't waste your time on craigslist, don’t do it. Court Filings: Brad is willing to do what you need to do, but he will caution you as to what you shouldn't do and/or the consequences if you do. Tips: Get a therapist to help you with dealing with a divorce, it'll save you time and money. Don't use attorneys as a therapist, although they are respectful because they know. Lastly, I'm so thankful for Brad Crider and Kelly. They really helped me through the most troubling of times even after trial. Because of them I know how to deal with the Mother going forward. There is not enough money nor enough thank you’s I can give to either of them, that I feel repays them. I would never hire another attorney for a Family Matter. I will always refer Brad Crider Office to friends and family. Good luck with those others.

Did not have best interest

Hired this attorney to assist me with modifying my existing custody arrangements, my ex is very difficult to try and negotiate, we went from trying to alternate birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving and adding one day to my current days, to negotiating counseling sessions for me, changing drop off and p...ick up and other things, but the most annoying his failure to keep me in the loop or discuss anything with me, I only get emails to remind me of a court date which he decided was not in my best interest to move towards. He just does not communicate anything with me.

Highly recommend Brad to anyone

I've unfortunately been to family court a number of times with different attorneys over the years and I can confidently say that Brad is amazing at what he does. He's professional, personable, understanding, and has a great ability to explain the up's and down's of the process. He's experienced in ...and out of the courtroom, proved to be even better than my high expectations, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Highly recommended

Brad was a great lawyer! This was my second time going to court for a child custody case. I was not impressed with my first lawyer I searched for a new one and found Brad and was glad I did. Brad was very supportive and made sure I knew all the possible outcomes. I was very nervous going into the cou...rtroom but Brad made sure I knew what was going to happen and how to handle it. He represented my case very well and I was very impressed with him. I have already referred a friend who is going through a custody battle himself I hope he uses him as I believe Brad could help his case as well!

Brad Crider: An Amazing Attorney

I have been extremely pleased with the service I recieved and continue to receive from Mr. Crider. I interviewed several other attorneys, and even worked with a couple of others before finally deciding that Mr. Crider was the attorney I wanted to represent me. I am glad I did. He took the time to ...really listen to my concerns and his calm demeanor and legal knowledge put me at ease during the most stressful time of my life. He helped me sort through what evidence to gather and came up with a game plan that would help us manage our time before the judge so that the judge could hear and review everything that needed to be considered in my case. My case was very involved and a lot of evidence needed to be presented during the trial regarding finances. This left little time to address child custody issues, which I also had concerns with. Mr. Crider requested that the court order that my ex-spouse and myself meet with a "parenting conference provider" prior to trial. This allowed us to gather evidence regarding child custody and parenting time issues that would be reviewed by the judge. I provided the evidence to the parenting conference provider, she wrote up a report validating my concerns, and this report saved us time during trial so that the financial issues could be addressed. The financial issues involved fraud, deception, and marital waste. In a community property state where things tend to be split 50/50 in a divorce, I was concerned that I might be stuck paying for my ex-spouses indiscretions. This was not the case. Because of Brad's planning and legal knowledge, I was able to have almost all of my financial evidence as well as child custody evidence heard. My ex was ordered to pay all credit card debt which exceeded an amount still unknown to me because my ex refused to disclose everything, but I know it exceeded well over $20,000. He was also ordered to pay half of my student loans which were used to pay joint living expenses during our marriage. As far as parenting time and child custody, my concerns were also heard. My ex was given every other weekend and Wednesday nights. I was also given final decision making. I thought that things would settle down once the divorce was finalized. This has not been the case. My ex has cooperated with very little since the divorce, and Mr. Crider has been by my side the whole time. I had to file a restraining order shortly after the divorce. Mr. Crider helped me acquire a parenting coordinator to act as a mediator between myself and my ex, as communication with my ex has been extremely difficult since the divorce. The parenting coordinator has helped put a stop to some of the issues we have had post decree. My ex has also refused to comply with some of the orders handed down in the decree. Mr. Crider helped me file a petition of contempt, and now a contempt hearing has been scheduled to enforce the decree. Mr. Crider's professionalism, responsiveness, knowledge, and integrity have surpassed my every expectation. I would recommend Mr. Crider in a heartbeat to anyone going through a divorce or who has child custody issues.
