There is never an excuse for neglect
I hired Shannon for an appeal case after she was highly recommend as being a bulldog in court — but instead got a poodle who was all bark and no bite. She never communicated timelines or the steps of the appeal process properly so I never had any idea what was going on and had to constantly follow up...

Replied last November 14, 2023Your concerns and feedback are heard and understood. Unfortunately, we do not have the same opinion regarding how the case was handled. Of course, we never want an unhappy client and I am sorry this was your experience. It is also often difficult to take on an appeal when one of our lawyers did not handle the original hearing. Our jobs would always be easier if we could guarantee a “slam dunk” in any case - we wish we could win every case! Miscalculations of deadlines happen and fortunately, the one day extension was granted by the judge and it did not affect the outcome of case. We will double check our deadline system to ensure this doesn’t happen again. One of our biggest sources of pride is our level of empathy and I tried hard to show that to you at every step of this process, including our response to this review and our attempts to address these issues via email. I wish you the best of luck in the future and thank you for your feedback.
