Maria Jones - A fantastic Immigration Attorney

I was obviously very concerned in 2011 when I found myself in need of an immigration attorney. I was concerned that I wouldn't know where to begin with all of the paperwork. I was concerned that I would make a life changing mistake. I decided to hire an immigration attorney who was highly recommended... by a friend of mine. I chose Maria Jones Law Firm and working with Maria Jones directly. I felt comfortable , and confident in her ability, and my choice for her to represent myself. I'm pretty sure mine was not a typical case seen in Phoenix, AZ and so I did worry along the way but all of my questions were answered by Maria Jones. She always responded to my calls or called me back promptly. She really made a stressful process easy. She was always prepared, on time, and kept us informed throughout the process.

monetery interest only

On march 19,2014 i had a consultation with her assistants. They said they could help me and i was ready to start that same day (i had all my personal documents).I asked to start that same day,so they walked me to a different room where a young women gave me a contract for me to sign and as i was readi...ng the contract i had gave her my debit card to be charged a sum of $250 to begin the process.. she never explained the contract. I hadnt signed yet she had already charged me. I asked if she was gonna do my paperwork she said no, you will have to make an appointment . I had waited 3 weeks for the consultation. I told her i was changing my mind something didnt feel right. She began to convince me to give them a try and i wouldnt regret it! I agreed. I felt despret to begin. I decided I wanted to cancel because i went home feeling robbed.. the next appointment would take another month.. just waiting. so i called to cancel ,,,,,you need an appointment to cancel wich they gave me one the same week because someone canceled. I Spoke to some other lady and I explained my situation...Why i didnt want their services. She apologized and I just fell for it because I MET MARIA JONES. She promized to take care of our case if I stayed. I agreed to put everything on hold .. meanwhile I am searching for a lawyer... Im undecided on what to do since im a lil desperate! Best of luck to others!

horrible service

If I could give them no stars I would my experience with this firm was a nightmare. Very unprofessional, my phone calls and emails were never return, I was the one that follow up with the NVC, after a year of waiting and waiting because my file was put on the back burner I demanded to speak with my a...ttorney which at this point hadn't met yet and I was told she couldn't see me because I didn't have an appointment I threaten to go to the bar and file a complaint it was then when they decided she could meet with me . I can go on and on with everything that went wrong, needeless to say I fire them and went to a different firm. I demanded to get my money back and I was partially reimbursed but I had to wait for over a month to get my money. In my opinion this firm only cares about their finance and not their customers do your homework before you hire them and save yourself a lot of headaches.

lacks customer service

i had scheduled a consultation with maria jones law firm, and was kept waiting well over an hour past our scheduled appointment time. the paralegal appeared to be knowledgeable of our situation. 2 weeks later we had made a decision hire this law firm to handle our case, we called to schedule an appo...intment to pay the retainer and other fees. The day prior to our appointment i had called to confirm our appointment, the receptionist could not find us in the system, she proceeded to advise us to come in between 11am-3pm. we arrive and the receptionist told us that our appointment was at 10am that morning. she told us, there was nothing she could do, then failed to apoligize for giving us the wrong info, and that we could not be seen that day.she had very poor customer service skills, was very cold about the situation, and was not compassionate at all about the situation she had put us in.

Unprofessional Customer Service

Our experience was not so satisfying, first time we went they got all of our information and second time we were present they had lost our information so we had to give it to them again. Also we were told we were going to get help to get my husbands citizenship process faster and they would review a...ll of his paper work and get back to us with in a week. Two months later we did not heard anything, we called several times to followup and no respond from anyone. I call again to set up an appointment to start the citizenship process of my husband. They call me back to let me know they wont be able to service that day because the person in charge of helping us went home sick, so I had to reschedule. I call back few days later to cancel appointment and receptionist ask me why of my cancellation. I just told her poor professionalism service, her respond to me she hangs up on me.
