I was hesitant to hire an attorney for my Extreme DUI case. I first used a Public Defender and they were not willing to reduce the charges or jail time. Given my medical condition I decided to hire an attorney. I met with Mr. Gillespie and knew immediately that this was the law firm for me. I am a working professional and an unforeseen tragic event occurred to me and I was sitting there thinking that my professional career was over if I were to receive a Felony DUI. I would highly recommend this law firm. I hired Craig Gillespie after my son was hospitalized for excessive fluid around his brain. He needed some temporary shunts placed to drain the excess fluid, which prompted a CPS investigation that seemed to never end and really never went anywhere. After a ...few months of police interrogations and misleading CPS statements and inaction, my wife and I hired Craig to represent us because we were told basically that since CPS assumed it was an injury that it would go to court. Craig was very responsive and sympathetic to predicament. He was knowledgeable in the area and very good at getting things moving. Knowing that CPS was pushing to get this in the courts and off of their plate and how ridiculous this case was, he could have easily let them place our case in the court system and started billing us for trial preparation, court costs, and trial fees. He didn’t do that however, he did the work to show them how ridiculous it would be to send this to the courts and pushed them to make the right decision. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Craig and am forever indebted for helping us through what has so far been the worst and scariest thing that has ever happened to us.
