When I came to Craig, I was at a very difficult time in life facing very serious charges. He was there from when I needed him till I didn't. After paying Mr. Gillespie a considerable amount of money, I felt like I did not receive what I paid for. My case was tough but Mr. Gillespie did not handle... it correctly. Throughout the process their was a lack of communication, lack of motivation and understanding of the case. I never knew where the money was being used until after the case which is highly unprofessional. I felt like I was on the back burner of his cases. It appears his firm just doesn't have the resources of capability to defend such cases. It was treated as a DUI case which it wasn't. Mr. Gillespie for me a "fair" deal for 3 years of prison time which he admitted to me multiple times this was a great deal. I believed him and took it. Shortly after I had regretted that decision and obtained other legal counsel. After paying a substantial amount of money, my case was completely re worked how it originally should of been and the outcome ended up how it should of been. Probation. If I went with Mr. Gillespie's advice, I would be in prison still and for a very long time. I would highly avoid coming to him with such big matters. It breaks my heart to leave this review but he deserves it. He did not fully commit to defending me and almost cause me my future. Please look elsewhere. Stay away from flat fee lawyers.
