Through a series of unfortunate life events mixed with poor personal decisions, I found myself in need of an attorney. A little over a year ago I was in an accident, totaled my car, rear-ended another driver and was arrested for an extreme DUI, (thank God, no one was injured.) Mr. Tinker came highly recommended to me by another well respected attorney in our city. He was available for a consultation with-in a few day...s. Of course I was ashamed, humiliated by my huge mistake, nervous and probably a bit “scattered.” However, Mr. Tinker was extremely kind, non-judgmental, patient, straightforward, knowledgeable, gracious and a gentleman. I knew immediately that I could trust him, and he would “go to bat” for me. He also went to court for me, a few times which I truly appreciate. I must say, that he went above and beyond guiding me through every stressful detail associated with an extreme DUI; directing me to alcohol screening classes, assisting with ADOT and DMV requirements, and even connected me to an insurance agent and a manager of a local car dealership. It was a long drawn out year, however, when we went to court he was successful in negotiating a plea agreement which was most agreeable. In short, James is a real attorney. In the end, James was personally able to strip away all 24 felony charges down to one class 6 open felony which is now in the process of changing to a misdemeanor. I repeat: 24 felony charges down to ONE MISDEMEANOR. Further, just 5 minutes before presenting our plea deal to the judge, James did a little last minute brokering and saved me THOUSANDS of dollars on fines and classifications. The guy is shrewd. If you are looking for someone who knows how things work, knows how to manage a case, knows how to advocate on your behalf, and someone who sees you as a human being as opposed to a "law breaker", James is the logical choice.
