I received James Tinker's information through a friend of a friend, both of whom are lawyers. I was potentially facing a serious misdemeanor up to a felony charge for a crime numerous years ago. He offered me extensive free advice despite being extremely busy at the time. He also reached out to other... lawyers to receive even more information about my case. After doing all of this for me, he then explained that it would be possible for me to represent myself at this point and provided me detailed instructions on what to say to the investigator. I opted to hire him instead as these charges would have very serious effects on my future at this point in my life and I did not want to risk saying the wrong thing. For the amount he charged, I feel that I received around 1-2 hours more of his time. After hiring him, he developed a plan for our meeting with the investigator. I agreed with him on our options and we met with the investigator. I cannot stress this enough, he is a PRO. I basically said nothing except what he instructed me to say. The investigator tried to step across the line with a question and James immediately shut it down in a very polite manor. He developed a positive relationship with the investigator in our meeting and, I believe, this ultimately lead to no charges being filed. TL;DR James Tinker is professional, honest and hard working. Do not throw money away on a different criminal defense attorney. If he will take your case, HIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY.

Further, just 5 minutes before presenting our plea deal to the judge, James did a little last minute brokering and saved me THOUSANDS of dollars on fines and classifications. The guy is shrewd.
