A little over a year ago I was in an accident, totaled my car, rear-ended another driver and was arrested for an extreme DUI, (thank God, no one was injured.) Mr. Tinker came highly recommended to me by another well respected attorney in our city. He was available for a consultation with-in a few day...s. Of course I was ashamed, humiliated by my huge mistake, nervous and probably a bit “scattered.” However, Mr. Tinker was extremely kind, non-judgmental, patient, straightforward, knowledgeable, gracious and a gentleman. I knew immediately that I could trust him, and he would “go to bat” for me. He also went to court for me, a few times which I truly appreciate. I must say, that he went above and beyond guiding me through every stressful detail associated with an extreme DUI; directing me to alcohol screening classes, assisting with ADOT and DMV requirements, and even connected me to an insurance agent and a manager of a local car dealership. It was a long drawn out year, however, when we went to court he was successful in negotiating a plea agreement which was most agreeable. Should anyone find themselves, family or friends in such a predicament as mine, I would highly recommend Mr. Tinker. He is now my hero!

I cannot thank Mr.Tinker enough! I would give him 100 stars if I could. Before hiring Mr.Tinker, he sat down with my mom and I for an hour and explained everything. He also made sure he answered every single one of my questions. This was my first charge and Mr.Tinker made the whole process very smoot...h. He always contacted me to follow up, made sure I was well aware and gave me all the information I needed. Throughout everything, he was extremely polite and kind, and very genuine. When he said he was going to do something, I knew he was going to do it. I had no doubt in my mind. Even though my situation was a very stressful time of my life, I hardly ever stressed just by having Mr.Tinker to represent me. Thank you for everything!

You need to understand that it is not in my nature to normally give gushing reviews, but I TRULY cannot say enough good things about James Tinker! My sister was in a traffic accident a little over a year ago, and it seemed that the other side had little interest in "playing fair." We couldn't even ...get them to return a phone call, even though we wanted to "do the right thing" and cover all of the gentleman's medical expenses! My sister was a wreck when the other party hired a lawyer who immediately began with threats, not even trying to have a reasonable conversation first. Here I was, across the country and wanting to help, crawling all over the internet and telephone, interviewing attorneys who might be able to help her. It was my great good fortune to come across a delightful attorney who explained that, while he did not handle these kind of cases, he would be happy to recommend one who could. James Tinker to the rescue! From start to finish, I was delighted to find in Mr. Tinker a man of honor and of thoughtfulness-- for our time and our finances and, perhaps even more rarely these days, for my sister's feelings and emotional well-being as well as her legal well-being. He was courteous and kind each time we spoke. He managed to convince opposing counsel to settle for a very reasonable sum that was more than fair (and without the nightmare of court appearances for my sister) and left us all heaving huge sighs of relief. He was thorough and honest and displayed an integrity that would make even Shakespeare reconsider his stance on lawyers. In short, I would give James Tinker even more stars if I could! And as I said when I began, I am not normally the sort to hand out glowing reviews. As my students could tell you, an A+ is pretty much a miracle from me... but James Tinker is, without a doubt, an A+ kind of guy! You will be fortunate and glad to hire him, I can assure you! A+ in every category!

In the last two years I got myself into a couple of jams. I truly believe I would have been screwed if not for the help I received from Mr. Tinker. First I got a DUI. With Jims' persistence and knowledge, he was able to have my charges brought down to the minimum. A couple of months later I got m...yself into a bit more trouble, felony in the 2nd degree, facing some possible serious repercussions. Thankfully I had Jim on my side in court! He helped make it clear to "victim" and the prosecution that it was all a big misunderstanding and I walked out of court a free man.
