I have worked for Zabriskie Law Firm since January 2009 handling all types of criminal defense cases. During that time, I have appeared on well over 2000 cases and either first or second chaired dozens of jury trials. I work hard for my clients to obtain the best possible outcome for each depending on his or her circumstances. No two cases are alike, and all are treated with the utmost care and consideration. I am fortunate to have a career I love. While many hate going ot work every day, I love it! There is no boring day in criminal defense. Each day presents new challenges and interesting circumstances. I do enjoy going home to my wife and beautiful little girls and spending time with them in the outdoors, going to dinner, and finding new adventures as a family. I do enjoy spending time on the golf course when possible, and also enjoy camping, shooting, hunting, and guitar.

Excellent Attorney
Stephen was extremely professional and walked me through each and every step. He was extremely responsive, attentive and took every step to make sure I received the best outcome possible. He even attended my court date in my absence as I was at the Hospital for the delivery of my baby. I highly recom...

Unprepared and selfish
Showed up 30 minutes late to my sentencing and he hadn't even read my PSI report. He was completely unprepared and the judge knew it too. He also looked unprofessional with his coat undone and his tie in every direction except straight down. He was rude to my father and close friend then chastised me...
There's so much that I could say about this, but frankly this review is lies. The client was told I was running late to court after I had to appear in another jurisdiciton earlier that morning. I had read the pre-sentence report before hand and went through the recommendations with the client. I will not address personal attacks on my appearance as that is ridiculous. The client's father was very upset after his son was taken into custody. He cursed at me upon leaving the courtroom. When I arrived in the parking lot, he apoligized, and I explained that the client, his son, had not done well on the witness stand at trial, and had said some things in the presentence report that were problematic. I understand that being sentenced is traumatic, but I have handles hundreds and do my best to provide the client and family with support and am always proffessional. This review is a malicious attack on my professional ability by a disgruntled client whom our firm fought very hard for, but ultimately lost.

Stephen, was attentive to my needs and handled my case professionally, and was efficient in fighting my case. I have a past that is less then perfect, and he was able to get nr probation.

"Steve Allred is the consummate professional, and I have personally watched him walk into the Courtroom and have a smiling Judge call him by his first name, and completely take control of a very tense legal situation. His results are outstanding; and his work ethic is second-to-none. Also, he is well respected amongst opposing counsel and his competitors in the Criminal Defense space. Without hesitation I would recommend Steve for any criminal defense matter."
