Steer clear

My interactions with Mr. Burrows, who represented my ex-wife in our divorce and subsequent child support modification, have been deeply troubling. The initial divorce decree, served on my birthday, was remarkably harsh and, in my view, unfairly punitive towards me as the father, despite it being a no...-fault divorce. In ongoing child support modification efforts, where my ex-wife's income is substantially higher than mine, Mr. Burrows's aggressive legal strategies have continued to fuel animosity. His approach has undermined any potential for a peaceful resolution, making an already difficult situation significantly more adversarial. Individuals hoping to preserve a respectful co-parenting relationship for their children's benefit should carefully consider the impact of retaining Mr. Burrows.

Amazing!

Dana is so thorough, I never had to question if he had my case as a priority. I have hired him on several occasions, and would recommend his expertise to anyone.

Custody and divorce

Dana is very thorough. Understands the laws and works with other attorneys to come to a resolution. Honest about potential outcomes.

Excellent legal counsel

Dana was an outstanding lawyer who assisted me in bringing my divorce (after 27 years of marriage) to completion. I am not sure another lawyer would have brought closure so quickly as there were many tricky issues regarding the divorce. Qualities I greatly appreciated in Dana are: He is an ex...cellent listener and makes sure he understands the facts. He has years of experience and and is able to provide sound counsel on essentially all issues nevertheless always wanted to know how I wanted to proceed. He always kept me informed on what he was doing on his end and where things stood with opposing counsel. He had a great relationship with opposing counsel which I know helped move things along more quickly. It is important to note in this light that I was told by my mediator how respected Dana is and how much that helps in bringing divorces to fruition. Dana is very concerned about the details. He dots every i and crosses every t. That is a wonderful trait to have when having someone prepare for your mediation. It can become annoying when it comes to be billed for his services (you will be billed for every email, every minute of every phone call etc). That being said, one might think that it might not be cost effective. My feeling is that I certainly could have found someone that charges less and doesn't bill for everything but I think that the same attorneys would not have been able to bring things to fruition as quickly as Dana did. So one pays one way or another. I therefore give Dana my highest recommendation.

Dana was an excellent Lawyer for me in my custody for my children. He was forefront. Did not try to talk around me, but give it to me straight. He was honest with his advice and straightforward. He did not try to go around in circle to confuse me, and rack up his fee. When he was done with my case, a...nd he returned what was left of the retainer fee, that was not used. I really appreciate the integrity and honesty in him. Thank You Dana
