Marla R Snow

Commissioner Marla Snow is a biased and sexist individual who needs to be removed immediately. I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to have Marla Snow as my commissioner to appear as a respondent in front of her. She refused to comment or even acknowledge my evidence against the other party and... zeroed in on a previous case I had with another judge who decided a completely different approach. Marla Snow decided that the real judge was insufficient in his findings and overruled. She also cut off my attorney as he was defending me in court and allowed opposing counsel who was female take significantly more time to argue their side. It was clear that Marla Snow did not read through the court paperwork prior to the hearing and made her mind up halfway into our 20 minute hearing with her. She refused evidence, cut off my attorney at his one only chance to defend me, and overruled a real judge's ruling as if she knew better. I will be filing a formal complaint on Marla Snow. She does not deserve commissioner. I will be appealing her decision and escalating it to a real judge who will consider the facts and make their ruling based on merits and not on bias like Marla Snow has done.

The mom gets to wrongfully claim my child as a dependant on 3 of MY YEARS. I spend 2 years trying to negotiate a settlement with her outside of the court system. She then refuses to even acknowledge or work with me to come to an agreement so I am forced to send it through the court system. The day sh...e is served with court papers she immediately files to have my child support revised. (Feb 2024) she then proceeds to reschedule every single court date until July of 2025. Whereas my child support was doubled and the commissioner gave her all the back child support to when she filed the original revision order. Thus immediately giving me over $4k in back child support, destroying my credit with a judgement, taking my hunt/fish abilities. Not to mention they based her income off of when she filed the order and based my income off of current amounts which was a year and a half difference between the two time frames. For 12 years this woman has never given me a medical receipt as my child is double covered on insurance. Conveniently when asked in court about the taxes she has 12 years worth of medical receipts that she's just been holding on to totaling $16k. The commissioner doesn't even look at the receipts and automatically Awards her half that amount. Those receipts were for her, her other son and my son. Of which those receipts for my son totaled $500 that I owe. So she essentially committed fraud on me and the court and I am still stuck owing her money and now $10,000 in lawyer fees to combat what the commissioner awarded her. At which I will probably never see the attorney fees even though she was 100% in the wrong.

This commissioner is a travesty to the justice system and should be censured or fired. She had no idea of a single fact in our hearing. She refused to even listen or review clear evidence. She can determine guilt just by looking at someone. Very very very obtuse, rude and incompetent. Had no clue ...where she was or what planet she was on . Just a disgusting player in our wonderful justice system. Review censure and fire her.

Commissioner Snow is the most outrageously biased human I’ve ever seen. Not even my case, but a friend’s who I’ve witness repeatedly get a raw deal and I’m just blown away. She doesn’t follow her own orders and picks a side and then argues for that side and then threatens I have never witness...ed a worse practitioner of law. If you’re a woman, you will lose if your case goes before her.
