Unfortunately I was unable to see Kevin's legal qualities because he never seemed to keep us informed or call us back when we needed him. There were several incidents where there was time sensitive information that needed to be discussed, as in most litigations and legal processing. As per his re...quest, I needed to relay some information. I called three times, then everyday for 4 days, emailed him and texted him. There was no response, nothing! There were a total of 4 incidences like this that I thought for a moment, I wonder if this guy is just running off with my money, (honestly!). He will not call, email or text you back no matter the urgency of your concerns. Ultimately, I was tired of not being able to get a hold of my attorney, so I canceled the contract for a partial refund, and got another lawyer. I believe contacting your attorney should be easy, I shouldn't have to wait 4 days and still never get a response... I fully recommend not hiring Kevin, in all it was a waste of money, time and our emotions as a family.

Prior to contacting Kevin, I had heard charges might come forward for a crime I did not commit. I decided to retain a lawyer just in case. I contacted Kevin and he told me he would require a $1,500 retainer. I provided him that. About 5 months later I was arrested (again, for a crime I did not commit...). Kevin then required an additional $8,000 to do the case, which I provided him in full. My bail was set so high (over 100K) I was unable to post. Kevin met me once in jail and assisted me in a total of 4 pretrial conferences before the judge (each appearance about 30 seconds), which included my arraignment. With each and every court appearance he would tell me he was going to come to jail to discuss case strategy. However, other than the one time, he never came. He was able to get my bail reduced by 50K, but still not below 100K so I could bond out due to finances. When I began seeing I wasn't getting anywhere (again, for a crime I did not commit), I decided to fire him and hire another attorney. Within 3 weeks she successfully lowered my bail to a point I could post the money and be released to fight my case (was incarcerated for 3 months). When I called Kevin to ask for a refund, he insisted he had "worked" hard on my case and that he would only refund a total of $4,500. So, for seeing me once in jail and 4 brief court appearances he charged me $5,000. Ultimately with the help of a truly skilled set of attorneys, my case was dismissed and my criminal record has now been expunged. Firing Kevin was one of the best decisions I made. It literally saved my future and afforded me a just outcome.

I hired him on Feb 26 2016 for pre file representation and didn't here from him even after leaving messages on his phone till March 7 2016 that was the day i got sick of waiting and hired another attorney we agreed that he would send me a $400.00 refund from my initial $750.00 retainer as he said the...y have been monitoring the warrant web site i agreed and and he sent me a text to verify the address and the amount it has now been 2 more weeks and i have yet to see the refund i have sent additional messages and e mails to him and his staff and heard nothing

If I could have given no stars I would. During a very terrible period in my life directly after the death of my longtime girlfriend, I got into some trouble while visiting Utah. Initially it seemed like Kevin was doing a good job, and he recommended I move home to Maine. Towards the end of the deal p...rocess he missed a court appearance, and while he managed to smooth that over and finalize the deal, which seemed like a fair deal, it was increasingly a hassle to get any kind of information or help from him. At which point he handed my care to Adam, and Jason. Halfway through completing my probation as I was trying to meet all the other terms that were required I inquired about the deadlines, to which they assured me, I had ample time to complete, despite the court officer telling me different. I believed them. So after faxing them the paperwork proof of me meeting my conditions, and later, with a month left to deadline, I was attempting to satisfy the last condition of a seminar I was supposed to visit but wasn't offered within 150 miles of where I live, but is offered online and acceptable in every other county in Utah except for salt lake county, and called them again to ask if they could find out if a waiver could be had to allow acceptance of the online version. Adam and Jason assured me they would find out. A week passed and they didn't contact me. They wouldn't take my calls. I began frantically trying to contact the courts, who refused me information on the basis of me having an attorney, but I did manage to find out that the last condition didn't matter, because they had either lied or been negligent 6 months previous when they contradicted the court officer's information. So now, not only is my probation screwed up, but I'll get slammed with a maximum penalty for charges held back, and have a bench warrant for my arrest. And to this day nobody at that office will take my calls, and if I do call from a number they don't know, they'll just say anything to get off the phone with me and never answer again.
