I was falsely accused of a financial crime. Without getting too much into the specifics, law enforcement got it wrong. I committed no crime. To make a long story short, after going to court a number of times and after the most stressful months of my life, Jerry was ultimately able to show the prosecutor that I was innocent and the case ended up getting dismissed. Most people don't hire attorneys on a regular basis and like me, didn't know what to look for. After having an terrible experience with another divorce attorney for 3 weeks, I decided to hire someone else to represent me. I've never had to hire an attorney before, so when I started my search for a lawyer I took my time and spoke to a lot of different attorneys. Jerry was easily the most personable and gave me the most comfort. I'm glad I went with him because throughout my case (which took about 6 months) he remained ...a easy to talk to as that first time I met him. I was falsely accused of stalking an individual which in my case was tried in civil court. For those of you who are not familiar with civil court, the burden of proof is low, at least by Utah statute. Basically the petitioner doesn't have to do much in order to destroy your character for 3 years. If ...you require any type of security clearance this will prevent you from obtaining one i.e. destroy your career. This certainly is not a good predicament and in my opinion a statute that needs to be revised. Mr. Salcido was amazingly thorough, aggressive, professional, informative, responsive, highly intellectual, a trustworthy friend to be honest and just outright on top of everything immediately. It was clear to the petitioner this wasn't going to be the cake ride they had envisioned. Mr. Salcido had no problem asking tough questions throughout the proceeding which ultimately led to the truth and the petitioner exploiting themselves in a myriad of their own lies as they they were forced to acquiesce repeatedly. As a result the judge saw through the contrived and embellished tale the petitioner had spun and dismissed the case. I can not recommend Mr. Salcido highly enough and I sincerely mean it. Thank you Mr. Salcido for everything my friend!
