I hired Dan Hardee as a change of counsel for a case that had drug-on for nearly 8 months- A case where I was spinning my wheels & loosing ground on some key factors. After I transferred counsel; Dan & Amy took quick control of my case. They made the necessary filings in an efficient manner & came up... to speed quickly on a myriad of issues. I appreciated their prompt responses when I talked/emailed candidly to them about my concerns. Their demeanor was always polite, honest & in a business-like fashion; regardless of the issue or whether I was applying pressure to them. They were responsive & I appreciated this greatly. I should also mention that their letters & wording were always exacting, explicit & well-organized. I have witnessed this is NOT always the case in this profession. But with Dan as my counsel each document was carefully structured & prepared for my review. I believe these well-designed & executed documents played a part in my counsel's effectiveness. And in some cases I believe these documents even served to educate opposing counsel on matters that were NOT transparent to them. I learned that Family law is NOT always cut & dry YET, Dan's team always seems to have a strong sense of the best approach which is due to their experience & solid relationships with the key players in this field. I left every meeting with new-found confidence & a clear understanding of the next strategy we were to apply. Ultimately, my case settled at the 11th hour. I believe if it weren't for Dan's careful handling/sense & a few command decisions he exercised on my behalf, it would've gone to trial. His actions demonstrated on a regular basis that my best-interest was on the forefront coupled with his concern for being thrifty & NOT running up a massive bill. After *13 months I ended up with a fair settlement that gave me more time with my children. I would highly recommend Dan & his team as a family court/ divorce attorney. I've also heard IF you're so UNlucky as to go to trial you'll DEFINITELY want Dan on your side in the courtroom. *The case drug-on far-too-long but I believe the factors pro-longing it were well-beyond our influence.

I hired Mr. Hardee to handle what potentially could have been an ugly divorce that involved two young children. I am a busy professional who was completely blindsided. Dan worked his tail off for me. Although there were rocky parts along the way, no fault of Dan, he battled for me every step and kept me feeling like I was his number one client. I filed for divorce 6 years ago, it took almost one year to get completed and cost tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees. Unfortunately I didn't have Dan Hardee as my attorney at that time. My custody arrangement with less than ideal, I ended up with around 17% custody with my son year roun...d. Two years back I filed paperwork to get my custody changed using my original lawyer. Nothing changed, it was stopped by the judge before it even got started. Last July I was ready to try for more custody again and decided to try another attorney. I chose Dan Hardee after a recommendation from a friend and reading online reviews about him. It was the best decision I could have ever made! It took 10 months of hard work by myself, Dan Hardee, and his wonderful staff but, I now have my son 50/50 year round! Dan Hardee is first class all the way, explaining ever step of the process, having me fully prepared for my deposition by opposing counsel, and being very thorough on deposing my ex-wife. He explained what to expect during the parenting evaluation and had me fully prepared for that as well. Giving me idea's that increased my odds of getting a favorable outcome. I went from paying, what I consider, a large monthly child support payment to actually receiving a small child support payment. Dan promised me, in the beginning, he would help me get more custody of my son I just didn't believe I would get what I was asking for. During this process we were required to do mediation, I went in knowing full well I would not get 50/50 in mediation since that was what I was asking for, I had to negotiate down. Just as my ex was not willing to budge an inch off our current custody agreement and would have to negotiate up. It went nowhere since my ex was not willing to negotiate. That was when Dan Hardee filed for a parenting evaluator to get involved. By the luck of the draw the judge assigned us Cary Imeson in Eagle. I cannot say enough nice things about Cary Imeson as well, she did a very through evaluation spending over 30+ hours evaluating our case and ended up coming back with a recommendation to myself and ex wife, our respective attorneys, and the courts of 50/50 year round, improved the holiday schedule, gave me more than I asked for during the summer schedule, improved how we do our exchanges to reduce conflict , and recommended we work together to get our son a passport, which was very important to me. Like I titled this review, I could not be happier with my decision to hire Dan Hardee, and also a special thanks to Cary Imeson.
