Steve Minert is devoted to using his practice to help people through difficult and complicated legal issues.

Education
Steve graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and also earned his law degree from Brigham Young University, where he was the first member of his class to be published in the Law Review, served as an Executive Editor of the Journal of Public Law, and participated in the national award-winning Moot Court program.
Experience
Steve served first as a Special Deputy County Attorney for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (Phoenix, AZ) in the Vehicular Crimes Unit, then as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and later as a City Prosecutor for the City of Eagle, Idaho. Steve is admitted to practice law in the State of Idaho and began his private practice in January, 2009.

Great Outcome with Steve
Steve was excellent to work with on my son’s traffic case. He was able to get us a better outcome than we expected and was able to get the misdemeanor dropped to an infraction. I would highly recommend Steve.

Saved my Life
I could not recommend a better lawyer than Steve Minert. This man has saved me on three occasions. Twice reducing the penalties for my two DUIs to the very minimum and once getting my charges dropped altogether.
