On June 25, 2001 I was arrested for attended strangulation. I had the opportunity to hire Statton Laggis as a defence lawyer. The case lasted almost 2 year. I cannot judge the skill or aptitude of this man I can speak on his character. I hired him in mid-Demember for custody modification. I heard nothing from him for four weeks. I called. I emailed him and is paralegal and was only told "I know he wants to speak with you" but no response for 4 weeks. Fin...ally called and got him and he said he would draft up a modification for me to approve. He did and I approved it. Then another 4 weeks go by with me taking the same steps as before but even more persistent. Turns out he quit working on my case because my EX intimidated him into dropping it with no legal proof. My ex somehow found out about my case and so was never served and nothing had actually been done. Yet, for four weeks my EX had this knowledge and I did not. Stratton was completely unprofessional and I would never recommend him to anyone.
