About me

The firm’s managing attorney, Mr. Hopkins focuses his practice on cybercrime, cybersecurity, defamation, invasion of privacy, and trade secrets litigation.

He represents plaintiffs whose reputations, careers, brands, or goodwill were harmed due to false or misleading statements; private or corporate data or information were accessed without authorization; personality, publicity, or privacy rights were infringed or violated; or income or profits were diminished due to violations of computer crime or racketeering laws.

He consults attorneys nationwide on dignitary tort litigation strategies, such as ways to defeat questionable or frivolous constitutional defenses, privilege defenses, truth defenses, personal jurisdiction defenses, or 47 U.S.C. § 230 defenses at the motion to dismiss and motion for summary judgment stages of litigation. He also consults on plaintiffs’ corporate espionage, data breach, information security negligence, and identity theft claims arising from conduct that 18 U.S.C. §§ 1030, 2511, or 2701 prohibit.
