On March 7, 2021 at 3 A.M. in downtown denver I was arrested and charged with Hit and run as well as a DUI. In my mind it seemed like a very clean cut open and close case in the states favor. I was certain that I would lose in court if I attempted to contest the charges. Upon being referred by a frie...nd to Charles Fife, I decided to seek consultation. Initially being very reluctant to retain his services due to price, I did so anyway. Not only did Mr. Fife start by winning my case against the DMV resulting in my license never being so much as suspended; none the less revoked. He preceeded to defend my case with such vigor and mastery of his craft, ultimately resulting in the charges being dropped and me walking away with a speeding charge and a minimal amount of community service. First off guys and gals, this is coming from a someone that never writes reviews. I mean never. I just don't do it. But this time I have to. I mean, I've worked with a lot of lawyers in my time, but this guy is different. I'm talking about Charlie Fife. Charlie just went to trial for me an...d got me off a drinking and driving charge. I thought they were gonna send me to jail for awhile. I'm not joking. I thought I was dead to right. They had a cop testify, a witness testify, and two prosecutors that were dead set about trying this case no matter what we told them. And the judge was a former prosecutor that would have been only too happy to throw the book at me. But the jury only took 5 minutes to think about it. NOT GUILTY! If it wasn't for Charlie, I'd probably be sitting in jail at this very moment. Instead, I'm at home having a great breakfast writing this review. Let me tell you a little about what happened. First, Charlie got a private investigator to go to the scene, get pictures, and talk to the prosecution's witness before the prosecution had time to send their investigator and tell this witness what to say and how to say it. So we really got the truth from this witness before the prosecution had time to fill his head. Second, Charlie got this cop to admit things on the stand that the cop really didn't want to say. I mean Charlie really beat him up on the stand. You could tell that the cop was pissed to admit some things, but hey, the truth is the truth, even though the state would like the judges to believe something else. Third, Charlie got their witness to admit under oath on the stand that he really couldn't and didn't see exactly what he thought he saw, which is what the truth is all about in the first place!!! And last, Charlie was quoting facts of law that I didn't even know existed. He had the prosecution so pissed! But hey, the law is the law. And another thing about Charlie. The guy answers his phone when you call. What? What other lawyer does that? Usually, when a lawyer gets your money, he or she just puts you on a list and maybe has someone call you back or maybe not. Charlie even gives you his personal phone number. Tell me who does that!!! This guy is a true advocate. This guy really cares. And yes, you can call him Charlie. Yes, he costs money. But it's fair. And you know what else costs money? Spending 6 months in jail. Losing your license for 2 years. Going to DUI classes from now until forever. Wearing a stupid ankle bracelet to track your every move and every single thing that you put in your body 24 hours a day. Doing pee testing twice a week. Getting 4 years of probation. Doing 100 hours of community service. Now that kind of stuff costs real money. And you can't put a price on your freedom. I mean, this guy is the real deal. I would highly recommend anyone who is going through a DUI charge to hire Charlie Fife.
