I highly recommend The Meyer law office. I had a difficult case and got into some trouble when I was younger. over the past 10 years I've consulted with different attorneys who have told me they didntt think I should apply for citizenship and I should just maintain my permanent residence. I have been adding little glimpses of th...e case that the Meyer Law Firm has been working on for my son-in-law throughout the last year. Here is my grand finally!! After being told our case was not a case that could be won by four different lawyers over a 10 year span, I was heartbroken. I felt totally defeated by an immigration process that felt it so easy to take a father away from a five year old little girl with no further concern for her future than that. We decided to just have him lay low and hope for the best. Well the best was in our future not in our past. I love my son-in-law very much and he is an amazing Dad for my granddaughter. He had chosen to stay in this country illegally so he could remain a part of his daughter’s life and help raise her, because we were not given any hope by the other lawyers we had contacted over a ten year span. He felt it was not an option to go back to El Salvador with my daughter (his wife) and my granddaughter, because of how hard it is to survive there and how dangerous it is to live there. To make a long story a little shorter, the inevitable happened. He was placed in Aurora’s ICE detention center and set up to be deported. This was not an option we as a family were willing to take with his life and the life of my granddaughter who is the biggest "Daddy's Girl" next to her mom. Han’s laid out a well thought out plan to move forward and keep my son-in-law from being deported while we fought the fight of getting a Post-Conviction Case overturned and keep him here in this country while we moved forward with the strategies it took to make my son-in –law here legally. Hans had many victorious moments during this case, but the greatest was the overturn of the Post-Conviction case that changed the status of my son-in-law from illegal, with only the hope of deportation too, able to be released on bond with the ability to apply for Permanent Residency and a future as a citizen of the United States of America. He now has the possible ability to stay here indefinitely, raise his daughter, travel legally back to his country to allow his mom to meet his daughter and to become a citizen.
