EEOC & MSPB

I thank my lucky stars for the outstanding legal team at the Wick Law Office. Mr. Ben Wick, Ms. Holly, Ms. Morgan, and Ms. Kaitlin worked tirelessly to achieve justice for me. I am forever grateful for their legal expertise, dedication, and kindness. The legal team advocated for me through ongoing Eq...ual Employment Opportunity battles, from coaching me through depositions; reviewing literally thousands of artifacts; interviewing witnesses; navigating legal quagmires; quickly and kindly responding to my emails and phone calls; and most importantly, providing emotional support when I wanted to break down. Thanks to the Wick Law Office, a joint notice of settlement has been reached, and after many years of harassment and discrimination as a federal employee, I feel vindicated. This would have been impossible without Mr. Ben Wick's team. If you have experienced discrimination and seek justice, look no further than the Wick Law Office.

Great Representation

Ben was terrific. He took the time to understand every detail of my complaint. As my case proceeded, Ben steadfastly supported me. His persistence and timeliness in requesting information/discovery was met with resistance and at times hostility from my former employer. There were constant requests f...or extensions of time to submit information/discovery. There were constant references that information/discovery had been lost or destroyed or did not exist. However, Ben was not deterred and promptly filed motions for compliance. At no time did Ben waiver in his representation of me. Because of the resistance and non-compliance from my former employer, my case was lengthy. I hired Ben 18 months after I filed my EEO complaint and it was another 24 months before my complaint was settled. During this time, Ben kept me updated on every detail of my case. In the end, I was happy with the outcome of my complaint and the monetary award I received. Ben’s persistence and diligence throughout my case sent a message to my former employer their tactics and behavior violated my rights. I cannot express sufficiently my thanks to Ben for clearly getting this message across. I would recommend Ben to anyone.

Review of Benjamin Wick

Top marks for attorney Ben Wick. I approached him on word that he has extensive experience working for "the other side," and I came away from the initial consultation confident that he would be able to win my wrongful termination case. He efficiently advised me on every step of the process and expl...ained how all factors would bear on the case, and guided me through the documentation I needed to provide and actions I need to take. He built a solid foundation for the case based on his familiarity with the many missteps and failures of my former employer. Before his representation, when I filed my case with the EEOC, the VA refused to mediate. With it, the VA agreed to mediate before the MSPB. Mr. Wick's predictions about the VA 's claims and lawyer's actions, the treatment I could expect from the mediator and what would happen at every step of the process, and down to the exact dollar figure of the settlement. I am confident that without him in my corner, I would not have won the case.

Great Professional Responsive Straregic Lawyer

Ben was wonderful from start to finish. He addressed all my concerns and made sure that I was taken care of. My case involved an employment claim with my previous employer (oil & gas company) who is known to have won many cases against their employees. However, Ben has done an excellent job navigatin...g this case and negotiating a settlement on my behalf. During the process, Ben made sure I was aware of his strategy plans and decision making. He also valued my input and opinion at all times. I am very pleased to have hired his law office and will definitely be contacting him in the future if such events take place again. Thank you, Ben, for everything!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
