First experience hiring a lawyer. Seemed good at first, but then her sense for keeping a appointment time diminished. Lack of communication. Would not take accountability for either of these things and when confronted became extremely rude to the point where I will not be returning and will try to ge...t as much of my money back as I can. Which I'm sure was swindled away since she has made no attempt to call me back since then. I never had a chance to see the courts. Being talked down to and ridiculed is not what I expected to be paying for. Learned my lesson to shop around before you go with anyone

Hired Jessica, paid her in full. Although it did take me some time to get back to her with all of the items she needed (problems getting documents from IRS), Jessica would not call me back, would not email me back, was never in her office, and ignored all voice mails. She breached her Duty of Compete...nce on more than one level, and I will be reporting her to the Colorado Bar Association. Jessica blames her aging mother for un-returned phone calls (her mother is her "assistant"), but SHE is the attorney. It took months for her to finally call me back, and only did so after I called non-stop. I needed to get my case complete, in fear of garnished wages. My case is still not being handled, and she has never told me she can no longer take my case. After seeing another review from two years ago that had the same issues as me, it's clear this is not due to an aging and incompetent assistant, but simply an incompetent attorney.
