Our experience with Jessica is that she was friendly at first and then when we paid she disappeared. She did not respond to emails, text, or phone calls. Kept changing and adding to the paperwork she needed before filing. Took 3 months before she actually filed. Her assistants can not get in touc...h with her either and were frustrated with he disappearing acts. She missed appointments and was moody. Does a lot of blame shifting. We got stuck with her because we paid her up front. I strongly suggest that you hire a different attorney. This one is beyond unreliable. Not sure how she stays in business.

Paid in full up front. Nine months later, she never filed the case. Always had excuses. Never returned phone calls or texts and got pissy with me when I got angry. Didn't show up for scheduled meetings. Always tried to shift blame back to me and tried to act like I didn't understand what she ha...d said. Make sure you get written documentation of payments and expected dates....better yet, run for the hills.

First experience hiring a lawyer. Seemed good at first, but then her sense for keeping a appointment time diminished. Lack of communication. Would not take accountability for either of these things and when confronted became extremely rude to the point where I will not be returning and will try to ge...t as much of my money back as I can. Which I'm sure was swindled away since she has made no attempt to call me back since then. I never had a chance to see the courts. Being talked down to and ridiculed is not what I expected to be paying for. Learned my lesson to shop around before you go with anyone

I went to see Jessica in May in order to file bankruptcy after a very painful and contentious divorce. At first, Jessica was very friendly and understanding. Several appointments were made although the majority of the time was spent discussing her personal issues. She missed an appointment altoget...her with no notice. I complied with her directives to the best of my ability but was given little assistance and therefore ended up not completing crucial items on her very loose time table. When I failed to meet her expectations, she made completely wild and very hurtful accusations and basically threatened to dismiss me. I had already paid her full fee and felt that I had no choice but to continue the process under her guidance. Jessica is very unprofessional and is sloppy in her work. I have extensive knowledge of the legal system myself and was appalled by her practices. I cannot urge others strongly enough to seek better, more dependable and knowledgeable counsel. At this point, I can only cross my fingers that my bankruptcy will be approved and I will be able to move ahead in my life. I hope never to cross paths with Jessica again as she is a prime example of the stigma against lawyers.
