From the very beginning, Michael was extremely professional and organized. His communication was on point. He kept me informed on the process and status of my case continuously through email, text and by phone calls. FYI: he is very short and direct. To some, this may come off the wrong way. Just rem...ember, you hired somebody to protect you, not to be your friend. Against all odds he was able to help me get a reduced sentencing from a DUI to a DWAI. While vacationing in Colorado, I got in a DUI accident and hired Mr. Steinberg to represent me due to his extensive experience and expertise as both a defense lawyer and former DA. I was recently faced with a situation which presented an imminent existential threat to my family’s emotional and financial security, stability, well-being. I had made a significant series of very irresponsible decisions which led myself and, thus, my family down this terrible path. I was in the mids...t of legal proceedings for some very serious DUI-related offenses and hopes of any satisfactory outcome had all but faded. My relationship with my original prospects for any plausible defense had floundered following some unfortunate missteps during earlier proceedings and after terminating that relationship I was left on my own as my case neared a dire conclusion. He made certain that the Court was aware that I was sincerely remorseful for my actions and that for me this had been a hard-learned lesson which I had indeed came to understand as an opportunity for last change for the better in my life. In a case which was nearly impossible to offer viable defense, Mr. Steinberg was able to obtain the best outcome that could be reasonably expected and breath hope back into my own and my family’s life. After lengthy research and references I decided to retain Michael to represent me in a DUI charge. I based that decision on Michael’s experience as a prosecutor and knowing that he would be working on my case personally, and not trickling the work down to less experienced attorneys. In my case th...e consequences were life altering, as I have 2 previous DUI convictions from when I was a younger man about 25 years ago. Fortunately there were some extenuating circumstances in my case, which Michael Identified, and was able to present eloquently to the DMV to win my appeal to keep my license, and then later convince a jury of 6 that I was not driving during my incident. Not Guilty, Not Guilty, Not Guilty! I won’t mislead and say that any step of the process is warm and fuzzy. For me It was an incredibly long stressful year, and the anxiety and stress of a trial is brutal, but I feel extremely fortunate and humbled by Michael’s legal brilliance and his off-the-charts work ethic and dedication to my case. I know his time on my effort far exceeded a normal case, and that he went far above and beyond the amount of services that he could have justifiably charged me. I do not know how to thank H. Michael. He made almost impossible possible. I was charged with DUI and my case was dismissed thanks to his deep knowledge of law and the process.
