It has been a distinct pleasure to work with Marc Carlson. At our initial meeting, Marc’s clear explanation of the differences between wills and trusts allowed us to make the decision that a Revocable Living Trust was the appropriate legal vehicle for our estate planning. With his direction, we wer...e able to construct a trust that will provide for our needs as we age or become incapacitated and that will allow us to pass our estate on to our children and grandchild without the encumbrance of the courts or probate. We initially went to Marc to bring our Trust (originally written in Virginia) into alignment with Colorado law. This was done without difficulty, but in the process he had several recommendation to essentially tighten up the trust. Based on the product we now have, he clearly put considerable effor...t into developing it and then spent another 3-4 hours explaining what he had done , why he had done it, and what WE now need to do.
