Two years ago my wife and I created a trust with Mr. Carlson. I had a couple of issues with him, which I addressed in my first review. Since then he called me, well past the 30-day period, to offer to make whatever changes we needed free of charge. So I wanted to post this as a follow up a...nd to recognize his commitment to excellence in his profession.

March 30, 2018 To Whom It May Concern: During the period from late December 2017 to late March 2018, my wife and I engaged the services of Marc Carlson to educate us and assist in the preparation of our Revocable Living Trust. We originally desired to have our wills reviewed by Marc for pr...oper wording and effectiveness. During our first meeting, Marc educated us on the pros and cons of wills versus trusts. We quickly came to the conclusion that the trust was the proper instrument for us. Having had time to read the entire trust binder, we are ready to share our views on the service provided by Marc. We had upcoming travel plans which put us in a bit of a time crunch to get our trust completed. Marc did all the things that were necessary to get our product finished in a very short time period. He also has been very versatile in scheduling follow-up meetings. We find our trust to be complete and accurate. Marc did a great job in explaining the not only the entire process but all of the complicated documents in the trust. His knowledgeable, easy-going style and method of explanation went a long way with us. We highly recommend Marc to anyone with estate-planning needs. My wife and I had Marc prepare a trust for us. I am a lawyer myself and spent fifteen years as a judicial officer. However I do not have estate planning experience. I did not know Marc before meeting him as I am relatively new to Colorado. I can say without any reservation Marc is one of the best la...wyers I have encountered in my many years of working with attorneys. He is obviously an expert in his field. He is highly organized and produces a product that not only is understandable, but he reviews step by step everything in the binder that you receive. He is very patient and answers all questions in an understandable way. You walk out of the office with your documents in the binder, and also with a written checklist of things to do. His fees are extremely reasonable considering all the hours he spends with you plus the documents you receive. Without any hesitation whatsoever, I would recommend Marc for any estate planning.

REVIEW: After already spending money on a will that we found out was not completely protecting our assets from probate or in case of mental incapacity, we were so impressed with the way Marc not only took care of all our estate planning needs, but taught us what we needed to know about the best es...tate plan for us and our children. Working through this whole process has given us great peace of mind that our estate is safe and our children will not be burdened with undo legal & professional issues or expense. We contacted and contracted with Marc to do a revocable living trust. He was very easy to work with, educated us through the entire process, and was very patient in explaining each and every nuance with which we were unfamiliar ( there were many).
