Horrible Attorney

Was assigned as a court appointed attorney in late 2020. If you want a lawyer who fights for you. This guy is DEFINITELY not IT! I mean He doesn’t text back. UNLESS you bug him to death. Witch is really sad. Barley picks his phone up. Will NOT update you on court dates or settings. Nor does he care a...bout your case. He prob just looks at it the day of and pushes it to the side. He should be stripped of his license. If I was as care free on things as he is to his clients I would have filed complaint after complaint. His only Interest is himself and his motorcycle. He post on social media but will def look the other way if you need him. Horrible service. And he knows it. HIRE PROFESSIONAL HELP

John Doering

I was divorced in 2013. Imagine huge mistake choosing Olivo. He had received a 15? Minute cal from the friend of my ex wife explaining the entire situation to him and was adamant I was not guilty. Olivo said he would investigate the call and situation and took a 350.00 deposit. The next day he called... sad told me I had to go to court the day after. In my opinion he is a railroaded who has still not repaid me and cost me my life. Nothing my witchcraft practising ex said was true but in my opinion and in fact BNSF railroaded me. If your White stay away from the railroaded. Pay me Olivi

Continues to lie

Mr. Olivo you are lying. I retained a lawyer the day you were missing in action For my case. You did not negotiate any deals on my behalf. A lawyer saw me in the hallway broken down and uncontrollable crying. This was after the clerk called you while i stood there and you lied to her and said you wer...e not paid. You are a dishonorable person. Thats why you left el paso under a cloud of shame. Even though it was a 4 hour drive there and 4 hrs back i attended every hearing for over a year and you did nothing. You informed me of nothing. Thats why the lawyer recognized me because i came faithfully to each hearing. If you want to make amends do so by fixing this or forever bare the shame of you. If this is how you Soldiers serving i feel sorry for your regular clients

Just amazing!!!

We had a different attorney and were about to sign but then spoke to Mr. Olivo about the case and decided to hire him instead. He went above and beyond and the results were amazing! He also didnt charge a arm and a leg! I am so happy and thankful to have had him as an attorney, he truely cares

Do not hire

Just read the other reviews. He was a judge in the el paso court system when he took my case as well. Everytime I traveled 4 hours each month to go to my hearings for almost a year, he would show up hours later and tell me it was postponed. I asked for my recorded evidence from the courts which he... never provided. When I turned myself in for the el paso warrant he was there in the morning then left me in there all day on a bond release of OR bond. Which means the courts trusted me to show up without money to be having to be held. The day I should up to hear prosecution deals, the court clerk called him and he told them he left town an is now in Austin. That's how I found out. He had my number and two email addresses not a word. Never offered refund, apology, and now that I have returned from two overseas missions I will try to file a complaint with the state bar.

I am sorry that you were not satisfied with my services but I think its important to know the full facts of what transpired with your case. I attended every hearing in your case and I was always prompt. You should know that multiple clients are scheduled at the same time but in different courts. Each court knows this and allows each attorney to handle their cases accordingly. Furthermore, your case was set for pre-trial hearings, which means the attorney uses this time to negotiate your case with the district attorney's office, the judge is never involved and the hearings are not recorded. You also may recall that I had your presence waived for all non-contested hearings and you did not travel to El Paso for those. With respect to your Personal Recognizance Bond, I negotiated that on your behalf in El Paso, which resulted in your release in Arizona. Moreover, you retained new counsel several months prior to me relocating to Austin. Finally, I negotiated a dismissal on your behalf subject to certain prerequisites and advised you of such in writing via email, to which you did not comply, and yet, you still pled guilty after retaining new counsel. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding but your case was handled diligently and professionally.
