Horrible Attorney
Was assigned as a court appointed attorney in late 2020. If you want a lawyer who fights for you. This guy is DEFINITELY not IT! I mean He doesn’t text back. UNLESS you bug him to death. Witch is really sad. Barley picks his phone up. Will NOT update you on court dates or settings. Nor does he care a...

I was divorced in 2013. Imagine huge mistake choosing Olivo. He had received a 15? Minute cal from the friend of my ex wife explaining the entire situation to him and was adamant I was not guilty. Olivo said he would investigate the call and situation and took a 350.00 deposit. The next day he called...

Continues to lie
Mr. Olivo you are lying. I retained a lawyer the day you were missing in action For my case. You did not negotiate any deals on my behalf. A lawyer saw me in the hallway broken down and uncontrollable crying. This was after the clerk called you while i stood there and you lied to her and said you wer...

Do not hire
Just read the other reviews. He was a judge in the el paso court system when he took my case as well. Everytime I traveled 4 hours each month to go to my hearings for almost a year, he would show up hours later and tell me it was postponed. I asked for my recorded evidence from the courts which he...
I am sorry that you were not satisfied with my services but I think its important to know the full facts of what transpired with your case. I attended every hearing in your case and I was always prompt. You should know that multiple clients are scheduled at the same time but in different courts. Each court knows this and allows each attorney to handle their cases accordingly. Furthermore, your case was set for pre-trial hearings, which means the attorney uses this time to negotiate your case with the district attorney's office, the judge is never involved and the hearings are not recorded. You also may recall that I had your presence waived for all non-contested hearings and you did not travel to El Paso for those. With respect to your Personal Recognizance Bond, I negotiated that on your behalf in El Paso, which resulted in your release in Arizona. Moreover, you retained new counsel several months prior to me relocating to Austin. Finally, I negotiated a dismissal on your behalf subject to certain prerequisites and advised you of such in writing via email, to which you did not comply, and yet, you still pled guilty after retaining new counsel. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding but your case was handled diligently and professionally.

Divorce court
Mr. Olivo was a municipal judge when he handled my divorce case. I was sent to jail for 19 days for something i did not do and he let me rot in there even though he had a recorded call from my ex wifes friend that I was not guilty and was set up. I also paid Mr. Olivo 375.00 to start to follow up on ...
Mr. Doering, I'm sorry you were not satisfied with my legal services. It may have to do with the fact that I did not represent you on your criminal matter. I only represented you on the divorce, which was finalized in your favor in July 2013. Your criminal case wasn't resolved until June 2016. These two cases are completely unrelated. You may recall that you were appointed an attorney for your criminal case and any time you spent in jail was due to the fact that you were unable to post bond.
