John Doering

I was divorced in 2013. Imagine huge mistake choosing Olivo. He had received a 15? Minute cal from the friend of my ex wife explaining the entire situation to him and was adamant I was not guilty. Olivo said he would investigate the call and situation and took a 350.00 deposit. The next day he called... sad told me I had to go to court the day after. In my opinion he is a railroaded who has still not repaid me and cost me my life. Nothing my witchcraft practising ex said was true but in my opinion and in fact BNSF railroaded me. If your White stay away from the railroaded. Pay me Olivi

Handled my divorce case well

Great attorney! I was looking to attain his services again for a modification but unfortunately he is out of city. He made the divorce process easy. Would definitely recommend.

Divorce court

Mr. Olivo was a municipal judge when he handled my divorce case. I was sent to jail for 19 days for something i did not do and he let me rot in there even though he had a recorded call from my ex wifes friend that I was not guilty and was set up. I also paid Mr. Olivo 375.00 to start to follow up on ...the conversation. He basically did not question anything my ex wifes attorney did or why the police did not enforce the restraining order. The so called trial was a joke and i want my 375.00 back.

Mr. Doering, I'm sorry you were not satisfied with my legal services. It may have to do with the fact that I did not represent you on your criminal matter. I only represented you on the divorce, which was finalized in your favor in July 2013. Your criminal case wasn't resolved until June 2016. These two cases are completely unrelated. You may recall that you were appointed an attorney for your criminal case and any time you spent in jail was due to the fact that you were unable to post bond.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
