Jack Siegel founded Siegel Law Group after his own mother was cheated out of overtime at a CVS call center where she worked for 18 years. He brought in representatives from all 15 CVS call centers, fought off arbitration motions, uncovered destroyed records, and secured a $15.25 million class settlement for over 15,000 workers. As he told Texas Rising Stars in 2022: “I just don’t go into cases thinking I’m going to lose. The way I see law is, it’s a fight.” He brings the same tenacity to every client.
Texas-based, but practicing nationwide, Siegel Law Group is one of the most active firms in the country representing case management and utilization review employees in overtime cases. The firm represents employees exclusively — never employers — and has filed more than 100 federal overtime lawsuits in 27 federal district courts across 21 states under the FLSA and parallel state overtime laws, recovered over $80 million, and obtained more than 50 conditional and class action certifications. The firm brings hybrid suits combining FLSA collective actions with Rule 23 state-law class actions to maximize recovery.
The firm has obtained over $50 million in past resolved settlements, including cases against CVS Health, UnitedHealthcare, HCSC, and Centene. Major pending results include Pruess v. Presbyterian Health Plan ($38.7 million, final approval hearing June 2026) and Deakin v. Magellan Health ($16 million, final approval April 2026). In Deakin, the firm represented 200 Care Coordinators and won both class certification and summary judgment after eight years of litigation. Named a Top 10 Wage & Hour Settlement, U.S. (2019) by Seyfarth Shaw and . Three-time Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star. UT Austin summa cum laude (4.0 GPA); USC Gould School of Law.
