Biography
Michael Lovins is a personal injury attorney and trial lawyer based in Austin, Texas. He represents people who have been injured by the irresponsible acts of other people and companies. He has focused his professional career on helping clients get back on their feet after suffering serious injuries by getting them the most amount of money possible so that they can move on with their lives. By holding wrongdoers accountable, he tries to keep our communities safe and prevent other people from suffering similar injuries in the future. Michael advocates for his clients tirelessly and successfully, and has secured several settlements of more than $1,000,000 since opening Lovins Trosclair, PLLC.
Michael graduated from The University of Texas Law School in 2001. Immediately following law school, he landed a highly coveted job as a briefing attorney to U.S. Federal Judge James R. Nowlin, then the Chief Judge for the Western District of Texas. Michael then spent 4 1/2 years as an attorney with the law firm McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, LLP (now known as McGinnis Lochridge, LLP), one of the most highly respected firms in Texas.
In August of 2010, Michael partnered with Pete Trosclair to further his efforts to help individuals who were harmed by the irresponsibility, carelessness, indifference, or maliciousness of others. Michael lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife of eighteen years and their two daughters and one son. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Bar Foundation, Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, and the Federalist Society.
