Great Communication and Quick Resolution

We contacted Matt because we were in a tough situation with a commercial lease agreement after covid hit. We thought we were going have to file bankruptcy, but we ended up solving our situation without having to go the bankruptcy route. We were very impressed in our initial consultation because he was very clear and explained all of our options, showing his legal knowledge in these situations. What we liked the most was his availability and accessibility. He always responded our emails within minutes, and, communicated everything in a timely manner directly to us. We would definitely recommend him to anyone! He is amazing!

I was Born March 8, 1972 in Goshen, New York. I attended the University of Miami and graduated in 1994 with a BBA. I then went on to attend the University of Miami School of Law, where I graduated in 1998 with honors. I was admitted into the Florida Bar in 1998 and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida in 2000.

I concentrate my representation primarily in the areas of:

Bankruptcy (Chapter 7, Chapter 13 7 Business)
Business (Formation, Contracts and Legal Counsel)
Estate Planning (wills and trusts, etc.)
Litigation

Additionally, I act as Personal Counsel for physicians and healthcare providers in Florida who are being sued for malpractice.

Just the Best Attorney

Mr. Mazur is a brilliant and compassionate attorney. He knows the Law better than anyone I have met and is able to handle all types of legal issues. Knowledgeable & Patience

My husband and I really struggled with the idea of filing bankruptcy but no matter how hard we tried to keep up with our finances. We researched before meeting Matthew and once we met with him, we knew he was going to be the right person to help us with our bankruptcy. THE BEST!!!

We are only giving him 5 stars because there are no more stars to give! He was very knowledgeable and compassionate; not qualities found in most attorneys. Excellent Lawyer! Highly recommended!

When you have a lawsuit for debt and you have to go bankrupt, there is no peace in your mind! A friend recommended me Matt, when I hired him there came peace and the solution of the legal problems. Excellent Attorney !

I recently hired Matt as my attorney regarding an old default judgment against me and a resultant levy on my personal property. I am extremely glad that I hired Matt. He resolved a very difficult situation for me. Matt immediately drafted and filed the necessary court papers, contacted the opposing counsel, and arranged for my property (vehicle) to be returned to me, and for the old judgment to be vacated/ set aside. Matt was always available to me and willing to answer any questions. He was professional, patient, and understanding, and knows the law. Matt did an amazing job for my family

My parents hired Matt and his associate to assist them in creating a living trust, Power of Attorney and Living Will documents among many others. They both went far above what was expected in order to make sure that my parents wishes were documented and completed all of the paperwork to facilitate carrying them out. Our was a very difficult family situation and Matt was the consummate professional in all of his dealings with myself and my parents. He always took the time to explain all pertinent terminology and processes to all involved parties so that we would feel comfortable with the finalized documents. I would highly recommend Matt for any legal consultative needs that you might have and would have total confidence that he can do for you exactly the job that needs to be completed.

Excellent Lawyer

I first hired Matthew when I realized I had debt that was not just going to go away and I was being served to court by my debt collectors. Mathew immediately explained to me everything I needed to know to get started on my bankruptcy. He is very knowledgeable and knows the law. Excellet experience! Highly recommended!

We interviewed and met with several lawyers looking for someone to help is with our case until we finally decided to go with Matt. Matt's knowledge and guidance were crucial, we were comfortable with him and felt his advice was always geared towards our best interests. I never felt like he was just feeding me lines to get a check from me. He took the time to sit with us and understand our situation so we could make the best possible decisions. Probably the best thing I can say about him is that we dealt with him personally, not through a paralegal / receptionist. Wonderful skill and service

I contacted Matt to handle a lawsuit filed against us. He spent the consultation giving me detailed counsel on my case, potential issues and pitfalls, and strategy on how he planned to proceed. He involved me in legal steps and advancing the ball to resolving the lawsuit. Property Tax Reappraisal

My husband and I purchased our first home via a bank foreclosure. The purchase price was in our budget. The taxes assessed on the property, however, were astronomical. Reason being - the County Appraiser's Office had it at the pre-foreclosure amount, assessed at the height of the real estate boom. We contacted Matthew Mazur, P.A. to explore our options in having this amount reduced. Matthew was extremely insightful and guided us through the process. He researched the area and gathered comparable homes with more reasonable valuations. Lastly, he gave us a probability of success for our petition to have our property taxes lowered. He presented the petition on our behalf, and was successful in having our taxes reduced by several thousand dollars. Our mortgage payment fell by $500 a month accordingly. The savings Matthew garnered for our family more than paid for his fee. We are very grateful to have chosen Matthew Mazur, P.A. for our property appraisal needs.

Patient

Matt, is bottomline, PATIENT. He takes the time to explain every aspect of the BK process and makes you feel that he is walking in your shoes. Outstanding communicator and an overall professional with a great deal of knowledge of the BK process. I think I called Matt on avg about 5 times a week, sometimes multiple times a day and he was always understanding and patient with all my questions. Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Matt was my lawyer during my chapter 7 Bankruptcy. He was very knowledgable and kept me informed at all times during my case. He met with me in person before every major step of the case to discuss the situation at hand. He was very accommodating the day of the hearing, showing up 1 hour before the hearing to explain to me how it would take place, which helped me calm my nerves. The best thing I can say about Matt is how he treated me. I was not just a client, he made me and my family feel as if we were friends of his and was very understanding of our situation making. He made this otherwise difficult process seem very easy for us and it is greatly appreciated .
