Stephen is an experienced and aggressive defense attorney practicing in all areas of military and security clearance law.
Prior to entering private practice, Stephen spent nearly 10 years in the U.S. Army JAG Corps practicing in virtually all areas of military law. During his career, he deployed twice in support of Operating Enduring Freedom and served overseas in Germany.
As an attorney, Stephen has successfully represented service members, veterans, and employees in actions involving general and special courts-martial administrative separations, medical disability retirements, military nonjudicial punishment, security clearance revocations and suspensions, VA service-connected compensation matters, ROTC disenrollments, and more. Stephen has represented clients before the U.S. Army Trial Judiciary, State Department's DOHA, U.S. Army Administrative Separation Boards, ROTC Disenrollment hearings, and more.
Throughout his 10 years in the Army, Stephen served both on the prosecution and defense side which gives him a unique insight into how command's think when considering adverse action against servicemembers.

Great Lawyer, Very Knowledgeable, and Extremely Helpful
Mr. Jewell helped me with my ROTC disenrollment proceedings. My detachment alleged a breach of contact when the case should have been a medical dismissal. Mr. Jewell helped me with my boards and with all paperwork.
