Excellent Experience

Mr. Jewell was attentive to all my needs and quick to respond. Thanks to Mr. Jewell's experience and expertise we were able to achieve a positive outcome. I will definitely be recommending Mr. Jewell in the future.

Great Lawyer, Very Knowledgeable, and Extremely Helpful

Mr. Jewell helped me with my ROTC disenrollment proceedings. My detachment alleged a breach of contact when the case should have been a medical dismissal. Mr. Jewell helped me with my boards and with all paperwork.

Security Clearance Adjudication Rebuttal 2018-2020

Mr. Jewell was extremely helpful during a security clearance adjudication and subsequent appeal. A medical provider in the Air Force had rendered a harsh evaluation, and Mr. Jewell helped build, review, and submit responses to the Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DOD CAF). A...lthough my clearance was revoked, Mr. Jewell continued working and engaging through the appeal process. He provided timely and accurate information on both the clearance adjudication and appeal processes. Developing a plan for a second medical evaluation and separate medical opinion, Mr. Jewell helped my case be successfully appealed and my security clearance reinstated. He was always responsive when called or emailed, even through roughly 20 months of the clearance adjudication and appeal process. Although military members can self-represent in the process, Mr. Jewell backing my response submissions gave me great peace of mind, especially when it felt that I was being outcast by the entire base medical community. I also felt that my leadership took my case more seriously when notified that I had hired an attorney. I would never want anyone to go through the same experience, but I sincerely appreciate all the help, effort, and support from Mr. Jewell over such an extended time frame. It was very comforting and uplifting to know at least one person truly believed my side of events, and he was willing and capable to prove the facts.

Great representation

My son received a dishonorable discharge from the Marine Corp. Mr Jewell reviewed his case very thoroughly. And represented my son with great respect and confidence throughout the entire process he kept in touch following up when needed, the end result was the best outcome he received an honorable di...scharge with promotion in rank and is able to receive benefits. We couldn’t be more pleased.

Stephen Jewell's work brought an excellent outcome for our son

We hired Tully Rinckey PLLC to defend our son against unfounded charges. Stephen was the lead lawyer who defended our son, The result was the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence and the Court Martial was cancelled, Our son exited the Army with an Honorable Discharge and his full VA Benefits.... Stephen communicated continually as needed with our son and was quick to return phone calls or answer emails. We thank Stephen and the Tully Rinckey Legal for all the hard work they did to represent our son.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
