Jo Lyn Poenitzsch

I want to let everyone know that Jo is very very different than any attorney out there. We interviewed several and she is in a class all by herself. She met with us outside business hours for starters. She is professional and knows her stuff. She is a mean negotiator and knows the system inside and o...ut. She runs circles around her competition. She is responsive and driven for her clients. My nephew had a court appointed attorney who basically said there was no way he would stay out of prison based on his prior offences even though he he had been drug free with a great job and housing for 6 months. She fought for this young man until they listened. He is currently sober for over a year with a home of his own, multiple raises at his job and just adopted a dog! He is thriving in a world where he wasn’t suppose to based on his past. Our family will be forever grateful to Jo. If you want change and are ready she’s your girl!

She has done what all the other lawyers said couldn’t be done… I have several priors and prior pen trips against me and she got one of my felony’s dropped “the worse of the 2” ,and got me time served on the other one… Before hiring her they were offering me prison time over and over and in just a cou...ple months she got me off without having to go back to jail.. she is amazing and I recommend anyone who feels like they’re not getting what they want in the court room to hire Jo because she’s going to get it done..

Jo helped me understand everything I needed for my case! It was the first time I had been arrested and had no idea what to do or how to do it. Jo is amazing. I had a court appointed attorney for over a year and was unable to contact him once, even though I consistently called, texted, and emailed him and I would call the Court Office as well. I found out that he was also pleading guilty on my behalf without consulting me. However, after tal...king with Jo, my charge was dropped after just a month, and it could have been sooner if I was more available. She replies within a day to all emails and was constantly working for a better arrangement even after getting a deal with the prosecutor. I would recommend Jo to anyone and I am incredibly thankful for all her work, she saved my life and my relationship with my family.
