Biography
Robert (Bobby) F. Gebbia is an experienced and hardworking attorney serving San Antonio, Texas and the surrounding areas. He is a partner at Hoelscher Gebbia PLLC, a firm focused on high conflict criminal and family law cases. Mr. Gebbia's practice includes all types of criminal cases: juvenile, drug possession, federal criminal cases, major felonies, aggravated offenses, and sex offenses. He has earned a reputation as a practical, straight shooting attorney who handles regularly high profile criminal trials.
Bobby is routinely recognized by his peers and professional organizations for his advocacy on behalf of people accused of crimes. A former partner of The Law Office of Reece and Gebbia, he began his career alongside legendary attorney William T. Reece. William "Bill" Reece was known as a champion of Eastside San Antonians and all persons accused, regardless of their financial means. Bobby continues the tradition of Bill Reece by engaging in pro bono services for many clients who are abused by the justice system. Mr. Gebbia also makes a point of educating his students to understand inequality in the justice system and truly respect the presumption of innocence.
Bobby is a veteran of the United States Army where he served for five years as an Intelligence Analyst and Korean linguist. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute and was the Distinguished Honor Graduate from The United States Army Intelligence School.
Bobby graduated from St. Mary's Universtiy School of Law in 2007 and immediately upon license began practicing with the Law Offices of Reece and Gebbia. He also has experience in civil litigation as he worked as in house counsel with USAA where served as a Litigation Manager.
Bobby did he his undergraduate studies at Hawaii Pacific University and is a native of Long Island, New York where he graduated from Sachem High School.
Bobby is married to the beautiful and sweet Kealohalani Gebbia and together they have five wonderful children. Mr. Gebbia and his wife have been both foster parents and adoptive parents. As a result, he is passionately dedicated to creating a better, fairer San Antonio community for his kids to grow up in.
