I was charged with a DWI and I had a deadline to hire an attorney or get court appointed attorney. Was my first charge EVER, had no clue what to do or expect. I did my research, I googled top 50 attorneys in Bexar county and there she was, I did top 20, and there was Jodi, I did top 10, and there was... Jodi AGAIN. Now call me bias, but I knew I wanted a female attorney, they work hard, they do the homework. Five police cars and nobody has video evedince? I doubt that. It was that they didn't have a case. Her aggressive style, her confidence, her knowledge on knowing the law, and professionalism was what won me my case. Had my charger removed from City, county, state, and country removed from my record. I've recommended two other friends who also hired her and she won those cases as well. There aren't enough adjectives to describe Jodi. I will forever be grateful to her and I would never consider any other attorney. You want to win, hire Jodi. If not, you'll get what you paid for. You'll get little if anything just to save money, I preferred paying for my freedom and freedom was what I got.

Today I left the courthouse with admiration and respect for Jodi Soyars, the defense lawyer in DWI case in Comal County. Throughout the trial I found myself watching a lawyer who was obviously giving a highly professional effort to defend her client. She searched for the truth and continuously showed... that she had done her homework and knew the law. This was a difficult case because the odds of convincing a jury that this two time offender deserved leniency and a fair trial under the Law.
