Divorce Representation – Paid in full. No petition filed, no action taken, and no communication o...r updates provided. 2. Eviction Case Representation – Paid for full representation. Matter was handled negligently and unprofessionally, resulting in avoidable harm and losses. 3. Felony Criminal Defense (Harris County) – Paid in full. No action taken, no motions filed, no appearances made, and no legal guidance provided. Violations and Ethical Breaches: Your failure to perform the contracted services and your lack of communication and diligence constitute violations of the following legal and ethical duties: • TDRPC Rule 1.01 (Competent and Diligent Representation) – You failed to carry out the legal representation with competence or diligence. • TDRPC Rule 1.03 (Communication) – You failed to keep me reasonably informed about the status of my matters. • TDRPC Rule 1.04 (Fees) – You failed to provide a basis for the fees charged and have not provided an itemized statement as required. • TDRPC Rule 8.04(a)(3) – You engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation by accepting payment and failing to perform any meaningful legal services. In addition, under Texas ethics law and common law fiduciary duties, an attorney must account for all funds received from a client and may only retain funds for services actually rendered. Failure to do so may constitute fee forfeiture, breach of fiduciary duty, and may also rise to the level of legal malpractice.

Her interest in you and your case is based on how valuable you are money wise. As many have stated. She is unresponsive and unreliable. So is her assistant. She can have her assistant send me an invoice but can't respond to MULTIPLE CALLS, TXT or EMAILS. When I stated she would not get the partial... payment as agreed until she provided better service, her assistant immediately txt me back threatening lo withdraw and now she has left me in the process of my divorce because we missed 1 payment. Also, side note. If you call from random number she doesn't have saved, she'll answer because you might be a potential client !!

After reading her reviews, which accurately describe her behavior, we hoped for the best. Unfortunately, our experie...nce was exactly as others have described: - **Horrible Communication**: Jessica rarely responded to our calls or messages. Her communication skills are nonexistent, and she came across as arrogant and dismissive. - **No Consultation**: We never even sat down to discuss our case with her. She was always "too busy" and never made time for us. - **Minimal Interaction**: The only time we spoke to her was a single phone call that lasted less than two minutes. - **Financial Exploitation**: After we decided to move to another attorney, Jessica refunded only **$1,600** of the $9,000 we paid her. This left us with no money to hire another attorney, leaving us defenseless in our case. It’s unbelievable how someone could treat clients this way. We trusted her, and she took advantage of us. Her Yelp reviews describe her perfectly, and many of them seem fake. We will be filing a complaint with the bar association and hope to resolve this matter. **Do not use this attorney.** She should not be practicing law. Save yourself the heartache and find someone who actually cares about their clients. ---

I was very disappointed with the services Ms. Jaramillo provided me or should I say did not provide me. She started off super attentive and confirmed that she was able to take on my case. She quickly charged me a retainer of $2000 to start working on my case. On 1/12/22 she appeared to my 45 minu...te court hearing via zoom and told me that she would follow up with me. I waited weeks for a call from her. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything back, I began to contact her leaving multiple voice mails which she never returned. I than began reaching out to her secretary who was also terrible about returning calls. It was another 2 weeks of me playing phone tag with the secretary because she nor Ms. Jaramillo could return my calls or give me answers. Excuses like Ms. Jaramillo is in court this AM but open in the afternoons. Then I was told that Ms. Jaramillo had to take a week off leave due to a family emergency. I patiently waited and on 2/7/2022 (one month since Ms. Jaramillo and I had last spoken) I contacted her secretary again to find out the status of my case. That is when she informed me that Texas did not have jurisdiction and that Ms. Jaramillo would not be able to represent me in my case. What was most frustrating is that there was a deadline to respond to court document that I provided Ms. Jaramillo from day 1 and she never advised me. I contacted Ms. Jaramillo by email this time to share my frustrations and that I wanted to withdraw from her services and receive a full refund. Ms. Jaramillo finally responded via email to give me a withdraw approval. I never received an apology or a call back. And, was only refunded $800 back. I would not recommend her law firm to anyone unless you want to be cheated out of your money and get nothing resolved. She is unprofessional and unreliable.

The absolute worst attorney I have ever encountered!! She never responds to phone calls, texts or emails. If she does reply, it’s at least a week after you send her an email. She is the worst at appearing in court for you, and will take her time showing up about an hour or more late. Absolutely doesn...’t have your best interest in mind. And when she does show up to court, she does not fight for you. Instead, she will just take the quickest and easier plea that is offered to you. She spends more time traveling and going to social gatherings to look good on her social media, while spending your money doing so. Being greedy and not calling back her clients is her top skill. I would highly, highly NOT recommend this girl to work for you!!! She screwed over more a dozen other people that I personally know as well!
