I want to start by saying that Jessica is a great attorney! I want to give her a big thank you for helping me with my divorce, I can finally say that i am free. I hired Jessica in November 2023 for a high conflict, divorce and custody case in which she stated she was very prepared and she was able to handle my case. She failed to object to a motion of continuance Causing my final court date to be moved to March 2024. On November 27, 2023 Jessica and I were ...supposed to go over my evidence and game plan for the trial the next day. Jessica never called me even after sending emails and text Messages. The day of our court date, Jessica just rolled over and did not fight An objection of the continuance. Once the court date was moved to March of 2024 Jessica failed to communicate Or do her job Which has cost me about $15,000 in January alone to fix the mess she made. Stay away from her as she has numerous reviews of taking peoples money, and then ignoring them, or failing to show up to court dates. It makes sense why she did not fight the motion of continuance for me because she was not prepared for the case. The first court date we had Together she was over 45 minutes late. This court date was the only one she “won” for me and that was only because previously I was Pro Se and filed the motion and did the leg work myself. All she did was show up. I sent out a demand letter for her to answer my emails and give me an invoice after trying to reach her from December 2023 up until January 2024 with NO response. She answered my demand letter Almost immediately After ignoring me for months. In her response, she did not answer any of my questions, and stated that she would answer them later that day, which she never did . When she sent me my invoice I requested it then I saw her charging me for the emails that I had sent her asking why she didn’t respond to my previous emails. Jessica took my money and then basically left me alone, confused and broke with no legal help and tried to charge me more and at a rate that was not agreed upon. Till this day, she has still failed to respond to me, And due to her actions or should I say inactions, it has caused me tremendous legal fees To fix her mistakes. You have better odds researching laws and filing Pro Se then Having Jessica represent you.

I was very disappointed with the services Ms. Jaramillo provided me or should I say did not provide me. She started off super attentive and confirmed that she was able to take on my case. She quickly charged me a retainer of $2000 to start working on my case. On 1/12/22 she appeared to my 45 minu...te court hearing via zoom and told me that she would follow up with me. I waited weeks for a call from her. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything back, I began to contact her leaving multiple voice mails which she never returned. I than began reaching out to her secretary who was also terrible about returning calls. It was another 2 weeks of me playing phone tag with the secretary because she nor Ms. Jaramillo could return my calls or give me answers. Excuses like Ms. Jaramillo is in court this AM but open in the afternoons. Then I was told that Ms. Jaramillo had to take a week off leave due to a family emergency. I patiently waited and on 2/7/2022 (one month since Ms. Jaramillo and I had last spoken) I contacted her secretary again to find out the status of my case. That is when she informed me that Texas did not have jurisdiction and that Ms. Jaramillo would not be able to represent me in my case. What was most frustrating is that there was a deadline to respond to court document that I provided Ms. Jaramillo from day 1 and she never advised me. I contacted Ms. Jaramillo by email this time to share my frustrations and that I wanted to withdraw from her services and receive a full refund. Ms. Jaramillo finally responded via email to give me a withdraw approval. I never received an apology or a call back. And, was only refunded $800 back. I would not recommend her law firm to anyone unless you want to be cheated out of your money and get nothing resolved. She is unprofessional and unreliable.

I was recommended to Ms. Jaramillo-Moreno and it was the best referral and recommendation I could of gotten. What was suppose to be just a simple case of modification in child support turned into a custody case for primary conservator. My ex husband even asked for a child home evaluation. The ...child evaluator was not on my side didn't hear my concerns, didn't listen to my children. The evaluator picked my ex husband as primary conservator on her report. When it was time for trial Ms. Jaramillo- Moreno told me that the report could hurt me and we went to trial. Ms. Jaramillo- Moreno was AMAZING during trial and I ended up winning the case and stayed as primary conservator. I could not THANK her enough for listening to my concerns. I would recommend her a million times.
