5 stars does not do this woman justice - if there was a choice for a 10 star recommendation I’d give her that. She is an amazing attorney. She has a calm and confident approach with clients, but don’t let that fool you… she’s a hardcore rock star when it comes to the litigation process. She has a ...brilliant mind, comprehensive knowledge of the law, strong ethics and is a true advocate for her clients. She is one of the brightest lawyers I’ve ever met. If you are looking for a lawyer - look no more because she is the best. Her reviews were what motivated me to call her, but they were so good I wondered if they were “true reviews” - they were accurate! I consider myself fortunate to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for legal assistance.

I hired Ms. Burkett after interviewing 5 family law attorneys in the Houston, Texas area. Jessica, spoke frankly to me about my current situation, what we needed to do and walked me through the process to adjust my divorce decree due to the death of one of my children. This issue had been hanging ove...r my head for a few years and I was not certain that a resolution was obtainable without having to argue the case in front of a judge. Ms. Burkett did a fantastic job with building the right legal strategy, advising me of what to do and in the end, getting a settlement that was beyond my expectations. Jessica truly cares about her clients and helping them through difficult situations. I was also impressed with her fee structure and billing. I work in Public Accounting and can tell you that she was prudent with her fees and worth every penny of the total bill. Her fees were reasonable, and I had been quoted 3 times her total fees by at least three other attorneys and those attorneys did not think I had much of a chance for a reasonable settlement. I highly recommend Ms. Burkett, especially if your circumstances have changed and need an amendment to your divorce decree.

Let me start off by saying that Jessica is the best attorney we have EVER Hired! She really cares, she is really there to help for the best interest of the children. She was able to restrict my husbands ex from moving all over the place and providing a unsteady home for our children and restricting h...er to one County/State. She was able to drop his child support payments by 35% based on his income and not by what he used to make. She was always very upfront with us, knew what was best for my husband and the children...
