Do Not Hire

Do not hire, no response, money hungry and not a good attorney. Here is the grievance I filed: Matters Paid and Not Served: You were retained and paid for legal services in the following matters: 1. Divorce Representation – Paid in full. No petition filed, no action taken, and no communication o...r updates provided. 2. Eviction Case Representation – Paid for full representation. Matter was handled negligently and unprofessionally, resulting in avoidable harm and losses. 3. Felony Criminal Defense (Harris County) – Paid in full. No action taken, no motions filed, no appearances made, and no legal guidance provided. Violations and Ethical Breaches: Your failure to perform the contracted services and your lack of communication and diligence constitute violations of the following legal and ethical duties: • TDRPC Rule 1.01 (Competent and Diligent Representation) – You failed to carry out the legal representation with competence or diligence. • TDRPC Rule 1.03 (Communication) – You failed to keep me reasonably informed about the status of my matters. • TDRPC Rule 1.04 (Fees) – You failed to provide a basis for the fees charged and have not provided an itemized statement as required. • TDRPC Rule 8.04(a)(3) – You engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation by accepting payment and failing to perform any meaningful legal services. In addition, under Texas ethics law and common law fiduciary duties, an attorney must account for all funds received from a client and may only retain funds for services actually rendered. Failure to do so may constitute fee forfeiture, breach of fiduciary duty, and may also rise to the level of legal malpractice.

DO NOT HIRE

I hired Jessica in November 2023 for a high conflict, divorce and custody case in which she stated she was very prepared and she was able to handle my case. She failed to object to a motion of continuance Causing my final court date to be moved to March 2024. On November 27, 2023 Jessica and I were ...supposed to go over my evidence and game plan for the trial the next day. Jessica never called me even after sending emails and text Messages. The day of our court date, Jessica just rolled over and did not fight An objection of the continuance. Once the court date was moved to March of 2024 Jessica failed to communicate Or do her job Which has cost me about $15,000 in January alone to fix the mess she made. Stay away from her as she has numerous reviews of taking peoples money, and then ignoring them, or failing to show up to court dates. It makes sense why she did not fight the motion of continuance for me because she was not prepared for the case. The first court date we had Together she was over 45 minutes late. This court date was the only one she “won” for me and that was only because previously I was Pro Se and filed the motion and did the leg work myself. All she did was show up. I sent out a demand letter for her to answer my emails and give me an invoice after trying to reach her from December 2023 up until January 2024 with NO response. She answered my demand letter Almost immediately After ignoring me for months. In her response, she did not answer any of my questions, and stated that she would answer them later that day, which she never did . When she sent me my invoice I requested it then I saw her charging me for the emails that I had sent her asking why she didn’t respond to my previous emails. Jessica took my money and then basically left me alone, confused and broke with no legal help and tried to charge me more and at a rate that was not agreed upon. Till this day, she has still failed to respond to me, And due to her actions or should I say inactions, it has caused me tremendous legal fees To fix her mistakes. You have better odds researching laws and filing Pro Se then Having Jessica represent you.

I would give zero stars if I could!

The absolute worst attorney I have ever encountered!! She never responds to phone calls, texts or emails. If she does reply, it’s at least a week after you send her an email. She is the worst at appearing in court for you, and will take her time showing up about an hour or more late. Absolutely doesn...’t have your best interest in mind. And when she does show up to court, she does not fight for you. Instead, she will just take the quickest and easier plea that is offered to you. She spends more time traveling and going to social gatherings to look good on her social media, while spending your money doing so. Being greedy and not calling back her clients is her top skill. I would highly, highly NOT recommend this girl to work for you!!! She screwed over more a dozen other people that I personally know as well!

Fort Bend's Finest!!!

I was looking for a bilingual Attorney in Ft. Bend County and Jessica was recommended. I knew my child support case wasn't going to be easy so I wanted someone patient, knowledgeable and understanding. As soon as I met with Jessica I was confident she could handle all of my issues. She kept me update...d throughout my whole case, answered/returned all my calls and emails and was even early to every court hearing. My case was handled in a timely manner and her fees were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Jessica to anyone who is looking for a great family law Attorney. From my daughter and me..... Thank you Jessica!!!!! You are the Best!!!
