With a divorce comes lots of emotions and uncertainty, but Donnica made the process easy and worry free. She was very professional, patient, and answered all of my questions. She always kept me in the loop and made sure I was up to speed with where we were throughout my journey. She made sure I wasn’...t taken advantage of and she put her foot down when needed, she’s definitely a bull dog! (Respectfully) I’m very appreciative of her and all that she did for me through COVID restrictions and set backs! I highly recommend!

At first Donnica was there for me and seemed really focused on helping me handle my divorce sooner rather than later. Initially she did everything right and got the petition filed right away. Covid did interrupt the courts a lot. My papers were filed in June but I got nothing again. In August when my... soon to be ex was finally served. I have been calling and leaving messages and go nothing. She started to be really short and seemed irritated when I would call for an update (every 2 weeks). Now I can’t even get her or any of her assistants to pick up the phone or call me back. It’s like she stopped caring because next month will be a year since we filed and NOTHING. Get someone who actually has your best interest in mind vs dragging out something that would be “so easy”.

Couldn’t be happier with Donnica. She really stuck it out with me through this divorce process. Always professional, courteous, respectful, and down to earth. Does not string you along. Just got custody of my Daughter on Feburary 10, 2020 thanks to Ms. Attorney Marie. Feburary the 10th was one of the most happiest day of my life. My ex husband who I had been separated from for eight years divorced me on Feburary 15th, 2018 and also got custody of our daughter. My daughter had been ...living with me the whole 8 years while we were separated. During the time we were separated I barely got any type of financial help for our daughter from him . The most I proably got in 8 years was proably $1500 dollars. So basically he got my daughter cause I did not show up in court. I never got a letter telling me a specific date to show up in court. Once Donnica was hired, almost all contact disappears. It became very difficult for me to get an update on my case, it truly felt like she just took my money and completely forgot about it. What should have been a simple divorce turned into a nightmare. I was told my case would be filed that week, bu...t after some research it wasn’t filed for 2 months after and I was given the run around about why we weren’t progressing in my case. I truly feel ashamed that I stuck with Donnica for this long.
