Do yourself a favor and get someone else. Seriously. First problem, She didn't file the divorce when she said she did, and it matters, She said she did though and further after both my soon to be spouse and I both brought it to her attention that there was nothing on the Fort Bend County website fi...led she minimized us and shoved the issue to the side after many inquiries but never actually looked herself until it was too late and my soon to be ex wife was able to file 2 months later! , Donnica didn't file. Because of this it cost me 10k. See my ex-wife signed an agreement for joint filing and she got a 10k bonus for signing this (My ex wife got the bonus at signing). However because it was never filed by my attorney Donnica,, My ex wife was able to file and open the whole can of worms up again. Total negligence. During the negotiations she was so irrelevant that the mediator went directly to me. She was a non factor. The good news is both sides attorneys were not engaged so it didn't matter. Later I needed two quitclaim deeds signed and returned to a lawyer in Wash state related to the same divorce case, I was awarded these properties. The opposing council has them signed on July 3rd and mailed on July 6th. I have proof of this. Donnica stated that opposing council mailed them 9/9/2017 but I have proof that is not the case. Whom to believe? These are just two of the highlights. Seriously. Over and over again things just didn't get done. Then when you talk to her she minimizes you and tries to run you over. However, In my case because of those deeds I lost a real estate transaction. I also lost 10k because of the failure to file on time. You have a lot of people against you in divorce. Get someone that you can trust to represent your best interest. For me that is not Donnica. Keep a journal of every activity and text that she sends and keep copies.
