Biography
I have practiced family law in Kingwood since 1992. Before that I clerked for Bivin & Brennan in Kingwood as a law student. About 5 years after being licensed as an attorney Bill Bivin & I formed Bivin & McNamara. In 2007 I opened McNamara Law Office.
I have 3 children who all attended Kingwood schools and a 4th who will soon. Her mother, Cathy, and I make our home in Kingwood and love the neighborhood. I spent many days coaching soccer teams as my other 3 children grew, and I look forward to doing that again.
Throughout my career, most of my cases have been in Harris and Montgomery counties. I have had cases in surrounding counties and even as far north as Greg County, TX.
I look forward to helping you with your family law problems.

Thorough, efficient and caring

Child Custody
In our initial consultation, Mr. McNamara explained what we could expect, both good and bad, as we strived to gain legal custody of our granddaughter. With his guidance, we were able to accomplish our goal of gaining legal custody. We would recommend Mr. McNamara to anyone in a similar situation.
