Jan L. Fry

Jan is a wonderful attorney. She provides genuine care for her clients and has bent over backwards to get me out of trouble many times. She has a ton of experience in Houston and seems to know every person in the court house. After several repeat offenses I was facing serious jail time and Jan Fry sa...ved my life by somehow keeping me out of jail. I can't think of anyone that has had a bigger impact on my life.

After I was arrested and taken to jail she came and seen me about 2 days later, and we talked about the case, I was charged with 25kgs. of narcotics my bail was over 4 million dollars she told me that they arrested me without probable cause and basically jumped the gun on the arrest, and that we coul...d beat it on a motion to suppress, she never once changed her story on the way that she thought that she could beat the case, she always told me that she felt good about the case. After about the 3rd time going to court they offered me 25 years mind you this was my first time ever being arrested so this was a big shock to a person who has never gone to jail, she told me that she still felt good about the case and that it would take some time because it was a big case. So fast forward thru more resets about 10 months we get to the suppression hearing and she does her stuff her magic, pulls some very good cases for my case. The judge told us that we would hear the decision the next day, so I go back the next day, and Jan is smiling from ear to ear that's when I new that we won, and when the judge said it, it was a big sigh of relief. I was out that night to see my knew born, I thank God for Jan L. Fry. and her knowledge of the law and her ability to delivery it. She is a seasoned and determined lawyer, I would recommend her to my children. And she is very affordable, she actually cares, and she loves winning!!!!! Go Jan............ I am so thankful to Jan! After mistakenly missing my court date I was immediately thrown into jail and my bond was not only forfeited but doubled. I was terrified I would never get out. My family hired Jan to help me and even though I had never met her she went to great lengths to get me out. In July 2011, I was on my way to my hometown to visit family when we were pulled over by police. They claimed it was due to a “defective tail light”. Once pulled over they searched the car and found 4 pounds of marijuana. I went to jail and was bonded out. I found a lawyer whom took my case but he wa...s horrible. He was pressuring me in to taking deferred adjudication and was trying to convince me that if I went on trial they would not offer me that option and just give me jail time. My future is VERY important, regardless of my mistake, so I fired him and hired Jan Fry. Immediately she showed how dedicated she was to her career. She investigated and requested all the evidence. She never promised me anything she knew she couldn’t deliver. She kept very open communication with me and showed how much she sincerely cared. She found that the tail light the police claimed to be defective was just an extra cosmetic on the vehicle and that the main tail lights worked properly.
