Never switching to another lawyer !
I hired Jan to take care of my case after that moment i realized i didn’t have to worry about it at all anymore. She was always in court, always responded , and went the extra mile to help me out. Thank you so much for giving me a lawyer i can trust!

Very Impressed! Goes the extra mile!
This attorney was amazing! She worked miracles with my case and gave me a much better experience than I had with past attorneys. Attorneys are always tardy to the courtroom given that they have several different clients, but she always came and always prepared me for whatever was to occur on my cour...

Do NOT hire her!
Poor performance throughout my case. Doesn't remember details of of my case from one court setting to the next. Always show up late to my court settings. Sometimes an hour or more. If you are a defendant, you'd be real nervous when your lawyer shows up late. Doesn't return calls promptly! Not expens...
I cannot speak about the specifics of this case, however, I will say that a client is never stuck with an attorney. If they are not happy with her performance, they should either communicate their concerns, or find another attorney. Most attorneys at the criminal courthouse have more than one client each day which means that clients very often have to wait for their attorney to finish up in another court. I rarely have a client leave court later than noon, but if you are charged with a criminal offense, you should plan on being in court on a non trial setting at least until noon to be on the safe side. In general, there is no reason for a client to feel nervous because they are waiting on their attorney. The prosecution cannot speak with you and if the court wants your attorney present, they will usually ask you to call them. It is my goal to return phone calls the day I receive them, but depending on my schedule, it may take longer. For emergencies, I am available 24/7. Every case is important to me and it is unfortunate that this was not perceived by this particular client.
