After I was arrested and taken to jail she came and seen me about 2 days later, and we talked about the case, I was charged with 25kgs. of narcotics my bail was over 4 million dollars she told me that they arrested me without probable cause and basically jumped the gun on the arrest, and that we coul...d beat it on a motion to suppress, she never once changed her story on the way that she thought that she could beat the case, she always told me that she felt good about the case. After about the 3rd time going to court they offered me 25 years mind you this was my first time ever being arrested so this was a big shock to a person who has never gone to jail, she told me that she still felt good about the case and that it would take some time because it was a big case. So fast forward thru more resets about 10 months we get to the suppression hearing and she does her stuff her magic, pulls some very good cases for my case. The judge told us that we would hear the decision the next day, so I go back the next day, and Jan is smiling from ear to ear that's when I new that we won, and when the judge said it, it was a big sigh of relief. In July 2011, I was on my way to my hometown to visit family when we were pulled over by police. They claimed it was due to a “defective tail light”. Once pulled over they searched the car and found 4 pounds of marijuana. I went to jail and was bonded out. I found a lawyer whom took my case but he wa...s horrible. He would never return my calls, give me updates, try to find evidence if we were rightfully pulled over and he just gave me the run around.
