Best Lawyer in Town

My husband and I hired Susan Ashley the day before sentencing Jan. 2016, to 5 years TDCJ. We met with her prepared, and also interviewed from Susan about previous offenses. Being a registered Sex Offender, she made it very clear that the previous offense could slim the chance of being granted parole ...the first review, but will put forth the effort to get an approval first time around. Susan and I discussed about what paperwork she needed to make the inmate packet and had that done months before hearing. July 2016, 6 months in, parole interviews my husband. August 2016, Susan gives me a call to ask if I wanted to go to the parole hearing in person, as the parole region allowed, or conference call at her office. We then drove to Palestine Texas a 2 hour drive and she prepared me for what was going to be discussed and said, important key notes to point out and not to point out. At the parole hearing Susan did all the talking, representing her client, my husband, with perfect knowledge of his case on file and case from previous offense. Literally there were no questions asked by the lead voter, no comments, honestly was a short quiet meeting, but all facts were covered and Susan did everything she could to represent her client as a valued individual. Exactly 1 week and 1 day later parole was approved and granted to my husband as a FI-4R (11/2016). He has to complete a class before being released on parole in December 2016. Everything was done in perfect timing. Without a doubt I will always recommend Susan Ashley to anyone in need of a parole lawyer she was very successful in our hearing, Susan has really taken the time to study and make sure she understands everything that is going on in the case. Our hearing was a success and I'm very impressed about the outcome on our first review.

Excellent Parole Lawyer!!!

I won't lie, when I was looking for a parole attorney for my husband's case when he was sent to TDCJ, I wasn't sure where to look. A simple Google search led me to Susan's website and I hired her straight away. Later that same week, I met with her and discussed his case and she went to see him before... he was moved from county. She stayed in constant contact with me regarding his case and helped me to figure out exactly what we needed to do to get the best outcome. I'm very pleased to say that she didn't disappoint. She worked tirelessly on his case and as of this morning, my husband was granted parole on his first review. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing lawyer who does exactly what she says she will. She doesn't sugar coat anything and will tell you exactly how things go. She's very knowledgeable about how the system works and was able to answer any and all of my ridiculous questions thoughout the entire time we worked together. I probably sound cliché but I'd give her more stars if I could.

Wonderful!!

Finding a parole lawyer can be overwhelming and difficult. I was fortunate to find Susan Ashley attorney at law. She is very competent and very experienced in dealing with the Texas parole system. Ms. Ashley worked closely with me throughout the parole process and kept me up to date. She always retur...ned my calls the same day. She visited my husband in person and collect information about his case. She guided us every step of the way to help put together a complete parole packet. My husband's case was difficult but she was successful in getting him approved for parole. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with the difficult process of navigating the parole process. She provided a voice to the parole board for my husband and our family. Thanks to this wonderful lawyer my husband is coming home to our family!!

best parole lawyer houston tx susan Ashley

I was incarcerated last year for two felony drug charges 25to50 pounds of marijuana I was on differed probation I violated probation and ran for ten years when I was caught I received new charge felony possession I received 3year sentence My attorney on my case told me to get a Parole attorney to gi...ve me a better chance of making Parole he said that he really doesn't deal with the Parole hearing and it was highly unlikely that I would make Parole since I was an absconder or someone who ran from the law ,especially since I ran so long. I was in county for 1month and 4months in tdc when I came up for Parole .Everyone in prison that came up for Parole so soon was denied ,because they were not in the system long enough.Even people who had hired Parole attorneys. All the Parole attorneys that people would hire would not even have visited them while they were incarcerated .And if you asked them what they did for them they would tell you that they just send off the Parole packet and wish you luck.I believe that God placed the best Parole attorney that would do everything possible do get the best results for me.I have nothing but good things to say about Mrs Ashley, and I think this review is the least I can do to show my appreciation. She visited me while I was incarcerated and kept in contact with my mom and wife. The day of the hearing she picked up my wife and took her with her to let her speak on my behalf along with Mrs Ashley.nobody that I knew that had a Parole attorney took family members to speak on their behalf.I believe due to faith and all her hard work I made my first Parole. When I was released a few days later I went to dps to get my license . They said I had a warrant for the same thing I was just released for. Good thing I had just came from Parole and had my release papers in my hand. I called Mrs Ashley and she immediately got on it to fix the problem.she found out that they never took the warrant off when I was arrested.she quickly resolved the problem and now I'm clear .she didn't even have to do that but she went out of her way to do her job and more.

Susan Ashley is the Best!!!!

I hired Mrs.Ashley to work on my husbands second felony DWI. His case was difficult due to him previously being incarcerated for the same offense. Not only did she work on our case but she also cared for us. She is a very honest upfront person!! She's always on top of her game! She got my husband vot...ed parole on his first review! Thanks to her my husband will be home in a few months! Throughout his parole process she always kept us well informed. She always answered any questions or concerns that we had. If you are looking for a parole lawyer SUSAN ASHLEY is the one to call!!! I highly recommend her!

"I strongly endorse Attorney Susan Ashley. I am familiar with the outstanding work that she has done over the thirty years that I have known her. I have referred her cases and I have handled cases with her. I personally watched Ms. Ashley pick a jury and try an intoxicated manslaughter case to a jury and get probation from a jury on the case. I also watched Ms. Ashley handle a parole revocation hearing and get a finding of no probable cause. She has skillfully handled some large drug cases that I referred to her. When I refer Susan Ashley a case I know that she will do a great job and that the client will really be very pleased with her representation."
