We hired Susan to represent my ,who has been locked up 12 yrs ,on a murder case, parole had set him off numerous times, we hired Susan, she left her warm spot to visit my son in Abilene unit, met him, got to know him, so she knew him personally, and understand who he is now. A little time went by and... she went before the parole board in Amarillo tx. Just a few days later my son is approved for parole!!! Yes ,words can't explain the feeling I got when I saw he was approved! Susan really is the best ,I truly give her my highest recommendation

parole lawyer

I contacted Mrs. Ashley to represent a family member.I gave her imformation she requested and she let me know the worst case scenario he could possibly get a second set off on a 15 year sentence on aggravated sexual assault. I trusted Mrs. Ashley and I new she would work hard for us. she also ...informed me she always does the hard cases. once hired she sent a para legal to interview my family member at this point we new we had someone working on our side. my family member said para leagle was very kind and respectful something inmates aren't use to. If paroled we were expecting FI9. Mrs. Ashley battled on his behalf in Austin tx and knock it out the park with a decision to grant parole with a FI-4R . this family is completely grateful and happy we have made the best choice. not every one would help us Mrs. Ashley did. the Ashley law firm worked very hard for us and kept us well informed and showed us what we needed to do. she was my best decision I've made this year. i

Susan Ashley- best Parole Lawyer in Houston

My family decided to Hire Susan Ashley a few months before my brothers case was going up for his first parole review. We were skeptical like anyone else would be about hiring someone we had to seek out and do research on. We made the right choice with Susan Ashley because my brother is coming home! ...Ms. Ashley was very honest with us from the beginning on his case since he did have an agg. robbery. She did ensure us however that she would try her best to help us in getting him approved. Ms. Ashley went out of her way to learn about our family to better understand him. She was extremely professional in abtaining all the necessary documents and paperwork. She even made the 3 hour trip out to see him and personally get to know him and discuss his case with him. I was blown away by the way she was able to put everything together and present it to the board. If anyone is hesitant about hiring someone to help with a parole case, Susan Ashely is The One.

Criminal Defense Case

The search began a little less than a year before my husbands scheduled parole date of March 23, 2016. My husband was charged with an aggravated robbery, and during his time of incarceration he obtained an additional charge, which he received time "stacked" on to the current sentence he was serving. ...I had no clue where to even begin to look for an attorney, all I knew was that we needed a miracle with what we were up against, and what my husband had created for himself. I went into this experience clueless, and hopeless. I thought that if i was going to "waste" any money on an attorney for my husband I was going to be extremely picky. The reason I considered it a waste at the time was because there was no possible way he was going to make parole with two charges, one being an Agg robbery, and the second being obtain during his time incarcerated. who would want to approve such a thing? but little did I know. So, I went to Google, and searched, 'Best parole attorney's in Texas' sounds silly I know. The first two to stand out were an attorney from Dallas, TX (I don't remember the name), and attorney Susan Ashley. All i knew to look for was the opinions/reviews of former clients. If I found one negative review I was not going to consider hiring them. I chose Attorney Susan Ashley, because although I didn't find many reviews I didn't find ANY negative reviews. "Yup she's the one!" I called her, and there was something about the way that she explained the entire process to me that made me feel confident in her ability to take on my husbands case. She very clearly, and patiently delineated the parole process to me, and what her purpose was as a parole attorney was if we chose to hire her. Some time went by and I made the decision to hire her without considering any other attorney's. If I had any questions regarding the parole process she explained them to me. When the time came to put together my husband parole packet, she explained everything that needed to be included, and when she needed it by. She was always on top of everything, without us having to ask or be left wondering. She walked through it with us. The parole date was approaching, and Ms. Ashley advised both me and my husband to be realistic. She visited with my husband after being interviewed by IPO, and got to know him. My husband was really confident in her representing him in the weeks to come. Coming up against an agg robbery charge, and an additional charge while he was incarcerated, our chances were slim to, none. Ms. Ashley called me after representing my husband to inform me of how it went. She felt good about it, but she advised me to be realistic. We expected to be set off and come back next year. One week after speaking to Ms. Ashley I checked the TDCJ website to see if any update was made regarding parole. I was essentially looking for a set off date. That is not what I found. Ms. Ashley achieved what we thought was impossible. She far exceeded our expectations, and because of her magnificent work my husband was approved for his FIRST parole, on an aggravated robbery charge, and having obtained an additional charge while incarcerated. Who does that?!! How does that happen?!! My family and I are very grateful to have found an attorney like Susan Ashley. She worked very diligently with us, and kept us grounded throughout this very important time of our lives. I am writing this review in hopes that it will stand out to anyone who was in the same position that I was in a year ago. I do not believe there is any one attorney like her. I have extremely high, and positive regards for Ms. Ashley. She is absolutely perfect!

"I strongly endorse Attorney Susan Ashley. I am familiar with the outstanding work that she has done over the thirty years that I have known her. I have referred her cases and I have handled cases with her. I personally watched Ms. Ashley pick a jury and try an intoxicated manslaughter case to a jury and get probation from a jury on the case. I also watched Ms. Ashley handle a parole revocation hearing and get a finding of no probable cause. She has skillfully handled some large drug cases that I referred to her. When I refer Susan Ashley a case I know that she will do a great job and that the client will really be very pleased with her representation."
