There is a reason why this is the cheapest lawyer in Houston. Because Darla McBride is barely a lawyer. If she in your only option, I recommend representing yourself instead. In a shear and a half I could only get in contact with her twice. And on the most important and (what should have been) final ...day of my case, she did not show up. This is not the first time it’s happened because she was scolded by the judge for not showing up the day before and making her clients wait 6+ hours on a regular basis. She is a joke in the courtroom. To the bailiffs, to the prosecutors and even the judge she is a joke. If you care about your future at all you will not hire her.
